Fine Incline

아르메니아 민족의 전통악기인 두둑(Duduk)악기 음색을 사용하였고, 한국의 구전민요인 새야새야 파랑새야의 주선율을 모티브로해서 곡을 완성하였다.
One of my favorite woodwind instruments is Armenian Duduk. It is a double reed instrument. Duduk and piano were used to produce this music piece. Additionally, I used the main theme of one traditional Korean folk song orally transmitted called, Saeya(bird), saeya(bird), parang(blue) saeya(bird). I just used the short main melody line and improvised while enjoying playing piano (the first recording) and duduk sound (the second recording over piano music done). Let me rephrase this. Armenian traditional instrument (duduk) met Korean traditional folk song’s main theme and new music emerged creatively and improvisationally. Enjoy!
