Born in 19th century China into a family of rice farmers, Chevin lived a fairly typical lifestyle of his time, working the fields by day and frequenting opium dens of ill repute by night. It was during one of these opium-induced hazes that Chevin discovered that repeating variations of chord progressions set to 128 beats per minute backed by a thumping bass kick and a strong female vocal could temporarily produce massive amounts of energy & emotion in anyone within earshot. 

Unfortunately, this promising breakthrough came to a halt during the Opium  War of 1839, where Chevin was conscripted to serve in the Qing Dynasty Army against the British. Through a combination of luck and Mulan-like shenanigans he managed to survive the carnage of the battlefield, but found his entire village destroyed upon returning home. In grief, Chevin sought peace in his heart by joining the Shaolin Monks and learning some really badass kungfu in the process. After about a century and a half of meditation, Chevin has arbitrarily decided that now is the time to spread his original vision of peace and sick drops around the world.
