JIALING / BIG J is a Taiwanese American DJ/producer, interdisciplinary artist and founder of jjjjjjjj. Currently based in Brooklyn, JIALING was born and raised in Baltimore as a classical cellist. They spent several years living abroad in Asia, Australia and the Middle East before returning to New York. They are part of collectives AYI AYI (Brooklyn) and WOE (Baltimore) and have monthly residencies on London’s Balamii and San Francisco’s Hyde FM.

With a series of self-releases under their belt, BIG J’s contribution to our 2-track singles series brings the sounds of East Coast club to our roster. ‘babies’ combines an addictive vocal sample with Bmore breaks, 808 percs and of course the infamous Jersey bed squeak. ‘work this mtf’ transitions from club to warehouse, with techno-inspired drum programming. Nonetheless, the playfulness of BIG J’s sampling shines through once again.

Lucas Alexander returns to Richy Ahmed’s 432 imprint with a full throttle 3 track EP ‘Ouse It Up’.  The Cardiff born DJ & producer delves into a melting pot of influences across this triplet of dance floor focused club tracks.

Having dropped the ‘FM Dial’ release for 432 back in May 2022, Lucas makes a welcome comeback to the label, having deployed singles and releases for the likes of Seb Zito’s Seven Dials label, Darius Syrossian’s MOXY MUZIK, Ben Rau’s META, HE.SHE.THEY and the iconic New York label Nervous in the interim period.

On the ‘Ouse It Up’ EP, Lucas treats us to three slick pumpers, each track channelling his love of house music, dubstep, jungle and UKG.  On ‘Sunday Dinner’, Cardiff based MC Local features, laying down a jocular rhyme over swinging garage beats.

To celebrate the 2017 season we asked our good friends Neverdogs to compile and curate a selection of music that epitomises the Ibiza party season and captures the vibe of the white island.
Our Florentian brothers, Neverdogs, are no strangers to the label and have contributed a stack of banging tech house cuts to our discography over the past few years. With a heavy tour schedule and releases on top labels like Moan, Roush, Materialism and many more, we knew that there were no safer hands to trust with this special mix.
The Italian duo have compiled a musical journey that could be taken directly from the dancefloor of Ibiza’s top clubs.
