One year after his debut release on Top Shelf Disco (aside from a couple cheeky edits on our free download compilations) we welcome back our beloved resident Racket Club with his brand new track “Run It Back”. Inspired by artists like Westend and Martin Ikin, this is a peak hour dance floor bomb that has already proven to get the crowd hyped in his sets.

Racket Club adores a few things in House music above all else: fat bass lines, sexy female vocals, and some killer Hip Hop hooks. This track contains all three, along with plenty of fun call-and-response, FXs, and unique percussion pulls that make you recognize it immediately as you start to mix it in.

Racket Club started working on this deep in the jungle of Costa Rica four months ago and has been polishing it for your listening pleasure ever since. Why U So returns to selected. with “Mood Song”, a heartfelt and upbeat collaboration with vocalist Lua Sola. Blending emotional songwriting with a smooth, danceable groove, the track is a warm, late-summer release that marks their first time working together on the label.  

The artist project of seasoned German producer Cornelius Kuron, Why U So has quickly carved out a distinct space with his emotive and polished sound, following previous selected. releases “Hold On Me” and “Your Touch”. On “Mood Song,” he’s joined by Lua Sola — the new alias of Malou — whose vocals have previously graced selected. tracks like “Inner Light” with PALASTIC and “Allein Allein” with INNERVERSE and Helsloot.

This week, I remixed “With Your Love” by @illeniumofficial & Ryan Tedder — a song that instantly pulled me in with its emotion and energy. ILLENIUM’s music has been a huge inspiration for me over the years, and getting to reimagine one of his tracks felt like a special full-circle moment.

The original captures that signature ILLENIUM warmth and power — I wanted to honor that while giving it a more cinematic and expansive twist. My goal was to create something that still carries the same heart, but through a different sky.

This one really means a lot to me — it’s heartfelt, somehow nostalgic, and reminded me why I fell in love with making music in the first place.

Still going strong on this 52/52 journey — new music every Wednesday for 7 more week 🙌

Without doubt one of the anthems of this glorious 2018 Summer, 'Feel My Needs' from Toolroom hero Weiss gets a classy overhaul from one of the hottest names in house music at the moment, Purple Disco Machine.

A firm favourite with Annie Mac who premiered this remix on her Friday night Radio One show, PDM has had an incredible year. The tail end of 2017 saw the unstoppable 'Devil In Me' that is now deemed a seminal classic and PDM has ensured that 2018 pushed on from where this left off. His 'Dished (Male Stripper)' release went on to secure a top 5 spot on Beatport and has racked up an impressive 2m streams on Spotify alone whilst his remix of the Defected classic 'At Night' has also been huge this Summer. Add this to a crippling DJ schedule and it's easy to see how and why PDM is one of the most in-demand house artists on the Planet at the moment. 

Here he takes the original and adds in some funky and classy layers. The guitar licks, horn stabs, strings and slab bass line all scream PDM and add a lush daytime flavour to proceedings.

Embarking on his journey as a DJ and producer from his early teens, Corey James' first record signing quickly led to another, snowballing into an impressive resume that now includes some of the most esteemed labels in modern-day dance music: Size, Axtone, Armada, STMPD, Club Bad and Protocol. 

James has released multiple high-profile collaborations, such as 'The Underground (House of God) with Steve Angello,  'Orinoco' with Thomas Gold, 'Bird Flu' with Tom Staar and 'Another Storm' with Third Party, as well as official remixes for David Guetta and Steve Angello and a body of solo material - all of which received critical acclaim by DJs and fans alike.
