Nerd Podcast Radio was made by three friends that decided to sit down and talk about the thing that we love most, being nerds. We decided to record it, seeing how we all moved to different cities and didn't want to see our friendships fall to the wayside. In this podcast, we get together every other week, and talk about whatever nerdy topic that comes to us. Sometimes there are more of us, sometimes there are less of us but we're always Nerd Podcast Radio.

ein wohnzimmer mitten im zürcher kreis 4 war der gebärsaal der ersten sets. in einer diesen frühen morgenstunden im sommer 2009, traf Domenico auf Alister {DOMSTER}. beide noch ohne pseudonym unterwegs aber seit sie denken können von der musik geprägt, fanden ihre erfüllung in der house musik. über die jahre hinweg, auf der endlosen suche nach neuem stoff, wurden die beiden stark beeinflusst von koryphäen wie Hemman, Buttrich, Tejada, Jonson, Stimming, Gaizer Fraction, Henning und vielen anderen. dabei würdigen beide stets den Blues, Jazz, Rock und nicht zuletzt den Funk. um eins zu sein mit der musik und dem takt. mit dem gefühl für das es sich zu leben lohnt. die sprache der leidenschaft.

DOMSTER BEATS wollen eben dieses gefühl übermitteln. mit ihren sets die positive botschaft bringen, das techno musik viel mehr sein kann als laute beats mit drops und starker baseline. sie spielen house auf vinyl. ohne gross zu komprimieren, verzerren, loopen und hupen.

a living room in the middle of zurich kreis 4 was the birth site of their first sets. Domenico met Alister {DOMSTER} during one of those early morning hours in the summer of 2009. both were not yet known by their pseudonyms but shaped by music since they formed their first thoughts, so they finally found their fulfillment in house music. during the endless search for new material they were heavily influenced by luminaries such as Hemman, Buttrich, Tejada, Jonson, Stimming, Gaizer Fraction, Henning and many others, while also appreciating Blues, Jazz, Rock and especially Funk music. they became one with music and rhythm, with the feeling that makes life worth living, the language of passion.

DOMSTER BEATS want to convey that feeling and the happy message of techno being more than just loud beats with drops and a strong baseline. they play house on vinyl. without compression, distorting, looping and pooping.
