There Was A Crocodile

I'm outing myself as a songwriter with this one. I'm feeling far more nervous than my first ever Soundcloud upload.* 

We rescued a Jack Russell terrier cross from the RSPCA back in 2004 after he was found wandering around the streets of Ballarat. We decided to call him Strzelecki (or Strezzy for short), which turned out to be apt since he'll go exploring given the chance. Given his circumstances, we know nothing of his background. The vets couldn't even agree on an estimated age, putting him somewhere from eight months to two years old. He's adorable but basically pretty pathetic. Unlike the square, robust stance of a proper Jack Russell, he stood with his front legs together and paws pointing out like a ballerina, and because of his tendinitis (which made him hop frequently), he would take the weight on his left leg and let his right leg fall to the side like a model posing. He's always been skinny and has very little interest in food. He's adorable, but also a curmudgeonly old gentleman who constantly look at people and other dogs in judgement. It's been a long running joke in our family that (he's convinced that) everyone's completely misjudged him, and that he's actually a bloodthirsty killer with a formidable reputation but we're all too stupidly distracted by his scruffy cuteness to realise. 

* I'm also self-conscious that the opening tune is accidentally borrowed from the Dandy Warhols but it stuck to my brain before I realised. Alternative suggestions from any helpful tunesmiths welcome.

Here are just a few of my musical projects, songs, and ideas created by me, along with some musical collaborations. I started creating in the summer of 2012, and my pace slowed down starting in 2014. Music has always been just a passion for me, and for a few years, I also sang in the University of Bucharest choir.

Ecco solo alcuni dei miei progetti musicali, canzoni e idee create da me, insieme a varie collaborazioni musicali. Ho iniziato a creare nell’estate del 2012 e ho rallentato il ritmo a partire dal 2014. La musica è sempre stata solo una passione per me, e per alcuni anni ho anche cantato nel coro dell’Università di Bucarest.

Aici sunt doar câteva dintre proiectele mele muzicale, melodii și idei create de mine, alături de diverse colaborări muzicale. Am început să creez din vara anului 2012, iar ritmul meu a încetinit începând cu anul 2014. Muzica a fost mereu doar o pasiune pentru mine, iar câțiva ani am cântat și în corul Universității din București.
