Highly influenced by early 1980’s electronic music and classic 90's trance, Emilio Van Rijsel from Lille, France, debuts on Italo Moderni with energetic Moroder-esque propelling bass lines next to epic synth patterns and hypnotic sounds. With “Tendre Furie EP”, Emlio van Rijsel offers a glimpse of the wide array of his influences, embarking us on a synthful romantic & melancholic journey, depicting the nostalgia of missed blissful raving nights. Without a doubt, Italo Moderni bets on this great artist who has a very promising future on the dancefloors.
Remixes duties fall to Raw Union man St. Theodore, who replaces those italo trance flourishes with the strobe-lit pulse of Giallo and master producer Daniel Monaco the layers of well-informed 80s synth wave sends us into another dimension with high energy vibes.

Moustache Records welcomes Senor Chugger to the label family! His debut EP 'One More Tune & One More Pint' (yes come on let's have it!!) aims to encompass the euphoric feeling of being on a dance floor with nothing but your mates and some good music (and pints). Honestly I'd be happy if that's what's awaiting me in the afterlife. 'Press the Flesh' is the head of our proverbial euphoric snake, making no promises other than you'll have a bloody good time listening to it. 'Midnight Scooter Cruise' is about those last few moments before the lights come on; feeling genuinely happy to have been able to live in the present for more than a few seconds throughout the night and have a laugh - followed by thoughts such as 'Goodness me I'm going to feel horrific tomorrow'. Flipping over to the B side (or the snake's ass, if you will), we have 2 tracks competing for the loudest snare award. 'Head in the Clouds of Smoke' is a nod towards the great times had in the peak of the midday sun at festivals, where otherwise non-smokers inexplicably decide to chuff their way through a 20 pack. Last, but by no means least, 'Newton Abbot Reunion' is about going back home to see old friends - one of the more wholesome hangovers I'm sure you can relate to. Overall this EP wants you to keep on dancing - there will always be one more tune, and one more pint (unless you've had too many in which case don't do that). 'Very very good EP. Cormac, once a hidden gem in the world of dance music, has quickly gained widespread recognition as a respected selector. Hailing from Northern Ireland, this queer DJ is now making waves on dancefloors worldwide with his unique blend of HI-NRG, Italo-House, and Techno.

He became a fixture in London's iconic nightlife scene, gracing the floors of renowned clubs like Trade, Nag Nag Nag, and Bugged Out! 

 His DJ sets have been featured at major events such as Sonar Festival, PollarWeisen, Circoloco, Robert Johnson, WHOLE Festival, Homobloc and Adonis .

In Berlin and across Europe, Cormac is celebrated for his epic closing sets at Panorama Bar and Snax, sometimes lasting up to eleven hours. With free rein to explore diverse sounds, he has become a fixture in the club's lineup, keeping the crowd grooving until the early hours of Monday morning with his extensive 20 years of DJ expertise.

Cormac has held a monthly residency on Rinse fm since 2020.

In 2021, he launched his own label, Polari Records, named after the old-school gay slang once used in Europe. The label highlights both new and established producers, with each release featuring collectible artwork from LGBTQ+ artists.

In May 2024 the first Polar Records event was held at Panorama Bar.

Cormac's BBC Radio 1 Essential mix featured exclusive unreleased tracks from Polari alongside his debut solo release on Polari, the beloved anthem "Heartcore". As one half of "Comets", he released music on the esteemed Berlin label Ostgut-Ton. His track "Sparks", paying homage to Cowley and Bobby O, dropped in 2022 on Polari Records. In 2023, he debuted on Running Back Records and released "Leather ’n Lasers" on Polari Records.

Cormac's Resident Advisor Mix was released in May 2023.

Cormacs Queerly Beloved podcast launched on 9th January with Romy from the xx and Andy Butler aka Hercules & Love Affair. Season 1 also featured Peaches, fka.m4a, Fat Tony, Josh Caffe, Lakuti, Kim Ann Foxmann and Planningtorock. The podcast was already one of the top 10 music podcasts in the UK with only two episodes released.

Sharing his journey from growing up in Northern Ireland during the troubles, his years as a club kid in London, to his 16 years of sobriety and work as a queer health advocate.
