In 2008 four middle class urban youth from Philadelphia ventured out into the music business. After working yeoman hours they formed the collective arts group “Dope Citizen”. They fashion themselves as kids with a passion for art with big dreams in the genre of hip-hop. They use art and music to tell their story of success and want to show their peers they are not alone in their dreams of struggle and rising to the top. “Dope Citizen” are not just interested in making it in music; they want to make it in Film, Fashion, and most importantly.. life!
