As luck would have it JR Turek, the Purple Poet, is the Aug 2024 feature in the www.Scene.life magazine.  So, once again I had the great opportunity to collaborate and interview Judy for both the Scene and Calliopes Corner.  M.T. Pariti, the co-founder of the scene is also in on this interview as we highlight the FLASH MOB poetry circle, that meets in Eisenhower Park LI NY. Paula Curci Ms.Ed.Pd is the Poet Laureate Emerita of Nassau County, NY. 2022-2024 and a counseling educator.  She's been hosting and producing Calliopes Corner for over 20 years. The show has several sub formats. The most appreciated is Poets From People Like You, which highlights the poems from listeners: friends of Calliope. Paula interviews poets and songwriters, features talk discussions about specific themed poetry, and produces What's the Buzz(R), a public service announcement that airs issues for young adults and everyone!
