Friday Feature Mixtape Vol.44- Fearful (DIFFRENT/FLEXOUT/BLACK BUTTER/AUTOMATE)

We’re super proud to bring you this weeks Friday Feature. Hailing from Brighton in the UK, already being the home of many drum and bass heavyweights, is  none other than Chris Murray, aka Fearful. With releases already out on Different, AutomAte, Flexout, and Black Butter, you’d probably want to keep your eyes on this guy.

Fearful first embraced Drum and Bass 8 years ago, being shown tracks like ‘Warrior” by Calyx & Teebee. Being inspired by what one person and a computer can do, he started producing his own music. 

Previously, Chris played in a band, but being able to make music whenever he wanted to appealed to him. Soon after, Chris experienced his first rave in Brighton, and that soon put him through an addiction to Drum and Bass.

Fearful has aimed to select tracks showcasing the stronger elements of sound design. Striving to achieve a mix that gets you excited for the rave, whether you are driving to the club, drinking with your friends, or chasing up that last minute event ticket, consider it a warm up.

Fearful has his first vinyl release on Diffrent Music, ‘So Far Vol1.’ A track from 2013 entitled ‘Tongues’.

His 2nd AutomAte release ‘XIII’ is out on the 1st of December backed up with two  awesome remixes by Mtwn & Raiden. Then there’s a remix of Transparent's track ‘Overload’ coming on Flexout in the not too distant future which he has kindly included in the mix.

Finally, Fearful is wrapping up his forthcoming EP on Diffrent which will be out sometime early 2015.

Chris has received support from names such as Hybris, Emperor, Synkro, Indigo, Amoss, Quadrant, Arkaik, Cursa, Optiv, Chris S.U., Nevros, Shiver, 22:22, Dexta, and Phil Hustle.
