The whole set is brilliant! This particular theme, though, I find particularly haunting, in every positive sense of the word.

The next artist on the series is Chlorys; a sensitive soul from Bucharest's underground. She's a member of the Queer Night family of DJs, founder of the Bucharest-based Corp. platform, and a resident on Noods Radio, with the show Alien Flora. Over the years, she's shared the stage with heavyweights like DJ Stingray, Lena Willikens, Eris Drew, Sentimental Rave, and many others. Chlorys describes her recording as "a delicate exploration through esoteric landscapes, deconstructed rhythms, and dark menacing synth lines." It's a psychedelic trip we've had on repeat for a few weeks. Lock in!

Justyna Banaszczyk aka FOQL is a Polish electronic musician born in Łódź and currently based in Warsaw. She has been active in the vibrant polish underground scene since 2010. Part of Oramics collective​ ​aiming to empower polish women in the electronic music scene, support girls who spin records and those who perform live, and to create a friendly scene​ free of sexism​ for ladies in Poland. Member of Trzecia Fala collective – community of underground artists and infospot for underground​ activities​.​ In her art ​Justyna combines electronic music with a post-punk atmosphere, minimal wave sounds and industrial. She collaborates with Pointless Geometry, Enfant Terrible/Gooiland Elektro, New York Haunted and other labels. 16th June 2017 she released her second album via label Always Human Tapes titled “Lower Your Expectations”.

Corp. is a Bucharest based project and platform. It aims to represent and showcase female-identified musicians and DJ's in electronic music, while also being dedicated to acquiring and exposing obscure sounds, spanning from experimental and traditional forms to contemporary ones. Its activity is dedicated to broadening the focus on female identified artists within the context of Bucharest's local scene as well as beyond the borders of the country.
The project also aspires to go beyond the performing artists and to include studio musicians, producers, sound engineers, technicians, cover artists, distributors, promoters, and festival organizers.
The main urgent drive behind Corp.'s initiative is to open and sustain a studio where women will have the space and time to further develop their skills and communicate.
