After 10 years on the Tel Aviv experimental scene, Maya Danon is releasing her first full EP on Relish. On this remix, fellow countryman Autarkic continues his ascent of 2016. Gated percussion and cowbell driven, the Eastern promises are built around delayed and de-scaled trigger riffs. Growing with each 808 layer, the passionate and insanely demanding vox lead to a break where the funk gets flavour and the place gets smashed up royal. Wobbly skewed kewl.

PRÈMIÉRE: Fred Berthet - In Late (Rodion Remix) [Feines Tier]

The 21st release of @PlaygroundRecords comes from Tel Aviv from a young musical talent known as Coobe (@cuba-596964817)

His 'Kadum' Ep features 3 originals complimented with remixes from Thomass Jackson, Roe Deers and @RichardRossa.

The original of Moog Levv has a bass-line full of funk, which turns acid and takes on a frenetic rhythm. Chords pitched up and down make it fly with disco spirit. Whilst a constant percussive string sound keeps it tribal, hi hats and snares of analog rhythm-box give it an old school and dirty touch.

Richard Rossa takes on the remix of this track and mutates it with risky cuts, extreme but well-calibrated modulations which are supported by pads which are dispersed to great effect between delays and reverbs.

En su referencia número 22 los chicos de @playgroundrecords apuestan fuerte por LEONOR; uno de entre otros grandes productores mexicanos de esta 'nueva ola' y ya no tan nueva afincada por los mejores países europeos, en este caso Francia.  Oscar Sanchez aka Leonor, con referencias en labels como Tom Tom Disco, Sinchi o Nein Records, apuesta esta vez por un ep cargado de guitarras despampanantes y lloronas, bajos distorsionados y sintesis espacial que me evoca al kraut mas actual.

Vidis Čepkauskas or simply V returns to Glasgow based label Nautilus Rising with his 'Confusion' EP. The three tracker marks another high quality release for the Lithuanian artist, who's sprinkled his musical magic on labels such as Correspondant, Cin Cin or his own imprint Le Temps Perdu. 'Confusion Totale', the EP's second track, features various elements from multiple electronic sub-genres and therefore but not only shows anthemic traits. The spacey-sounding chords open into subtle Acid bleeps carrying the listener feathery through a sound-pillow. 

V's EP 'Confusion' will be released on Nautilus Rising on October 10th, 2019.

Stijn Sadée is becoming somewhat of a XXX regular. Having previously released on Bordello A Parigi and Kitjen, the Dutch DJ, producer and live performer graces the SHMLSS run record label once again with his open-minded approach towards acid-driven heavy hitters, tropically-tinged atmospherics and avant-garde house stylistics. Next to the four originals, Lithuanian tastemaker Manfredas supplies a stellar remix. After witnessing Sadée perform live at a festival in Amsterdam, the two connected and the idea of a remix was born. The record comes with an artwork collaboration between Stijn and his brother Thomas Sadée.
