Just in case the weather’s not hot enough for you, Correspondant bring even more heat with the second instalment of their ‘Numero’ series. A new unchartered galaxy for new and rising artists and friends of the label to explore and lay down their own rules, anything can – and will – happen.

Following the concept launch earlier this year, ‘Numero 02’ instantly thrusts us out of orbit for another cosmic crusade from Belfast man-of-the-moment LOR. Triumphant synths on a rocket powered groove, it sets the tone as Israeli newcomer Niv Ast, who makes a swift return after remixing Fort Romeau, takes us even further into the universe with ‘Generally Alone’.

For the return ticket back to our over-heated home planet Italo duo Concret and friend Cantor take the controls. ‘Freaks’ is a chunky psychedelic blur through the stars with occasional asteroid washes of guitar while ‘Hardcode’ marches us back into reality with staccato savoir faire. Another giant leap for Correspondant, stayed buckled up for ‘Numero 03’…

In early 2020 Niv Ast released the monstrous “Beau Chien” on Optimo Music Digital Danceforce, just as the world was shutting down. 
This year he returns to a re-opened world with “ Le Retour Du Chien”, a monstrous continuation of the theme, though this time the theme is ACID. Niv’s 303 is set to stun here and then half way through a surprise Discoid bomb goes off. 
The other two tracks are Acid dance machines whose sole purpose is to make people move, and of course put a smile on their face. BOOM!

The combination of Niv and Darlyn gave birth to 3 tracks, all are influenced by Rock n’ Roll, Acid & Pop, with catchy hooks that will stay with you for days &  kick n’ bass that will lift up every dance floor.
In ‘All I Need’ we dive into distorted guitars and  Niv Ast’s voice where we “live with devils everywhere” as this hit of a tune keep on telling us. 
In ‘Konark’ we elevate to a higher dimension with the rolling snares, the uplifting vocals and the groovy bass.
And finally we’re going deeper and hazier with ‘Numb Dumb’ where the we begin our trip with psychadelic chopped vocals which turns into a proper 303 acid banger.

For their sixth release London based record label and clubnight Snap, Crackle & Pop return with another slice of the post punk and kraut influenced electro/techno sounds that are coming to define the label. The latest release comes from Niv Ast and serves as a follow up to his appearence on last summer's Relish compilation.
"Disco Monroe" offers a nostalgic slice of pitched down French Electro undoubtedly influence by the Djs recent residencies in Paris.

Italian DJ and production duo Voon follow up a widely-supported track on Diynamic with a great new single that marks the 40th release for the connected label.

The versatility and uniqueness of this pair has led to them playing all over the world and getting support from the likes of Solomun, Rampa, and Marcus Worgull. Their sound is driven by the gravity of emotions and mixes up the smooth flow of rhythm with captivating melody.

Hungarian duo Secret Factory returns to their Secret Fusion imprint for a brand new four-track EP titled 'Hashen Tashen'.

Ahead of its release on September 2, Mixmag has snagged rising Brazilian talent TERR's remix of the fresh underground house offering. A pressing dancefloor affair with frazzled synths and metallic soundscapes, TERR continues to show us why she's one of the year's most promising electronic talents.

Premiere: Secret Factory 'Hashen Tashen' (TERR Remix)

Secret Factory return to their own label with another fresh underground house offering that includes remixes from TERR and MAN2.0. This Hungarian pair is legendary in their homeland having put on Secret Fusion parties there for the last 20 years. Since 2019 they have established their label of the same name with the sort of sounds they play in their tasteful yet experimental house, disco and techno sets. Their first original is ‘Hashen Tashen’, a brilliantly melodic track with rich xylophones and rubbery drums getting you on your toes. Cosmic pads add future vibes and the whole thing is stylishly slick and serene.
First to remix is Brazilian-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer Terr who is making waves on labels like Phantasy Sounds. Her version is an intense affair with driving drums and lasers shooting across the face. It has ping-pong melodies and frazzled synth lasers that all bring raw energy. Then comes London’s MAN2.0, a man who takes cues from 80's synth, EBM and “toy instruments from charity shops” amongst other things. Andrew Weatherall is a fan and will likely appreciate the macho twisted disco of this twisted chugger.
The final hurrah is Secret Factory’s ‘No Garbage Please’, a breezy cosmic house cut with more meticulous melodies and pads. Well treated vocals are another subtlety that ensures this is further winning effort.
This third release yet again proves Secret Fusion is a label as vital as the party it came from.

Correspondant return with another cosmic tonic to combat these strange and turbulent times. Four slices of smouldering, sexy, groove-toned deep disco, perfect for any lockdown or socially distanced scenario you can possibly imagine, they come courtesy of Tel Aviv's Niv Ast who's been making a name for himself in all the right places; Nein, Duro, Ombra, Relish and of course this very label with two big cameos last year remixing Fort Romeau and appearing on the 'Nume'ro 2' collection. This is his debut EP for Correspondent and arguably his biggest EP to date; 'I Remember' sets the hazy, introspective mood with purring spoken word and salubrious instrumentation before 'Ninja's Mothership' goes all-out psychedelic with sweeping guitar blasts and a slinky, writhing groove. Deeper again we hit pure uncut funk in the form of 'Hyperball Superball' before 'Poisson d'Argent' brings home the silver... A hook-up with good friend Cornelius Doctor, and easily the heaviest piece of the release, it's a chugging cosmic finale laced with layers of textures and sounds to completely lose yourself within. Strange, turbulent, smouldering, sexy; this is the perfect music to stay safe to... Correspondence is key right now. Let us know how you feel.
