As a DJ performing under the names cQuence aka WstEndGrl aka SoftServe: she has been providing that power to Kansas City, and hers is the thunderous might of a 25+ year veteran feeding her fans the fuel they need to wreck the dance floor. She has performed from the West Coast to all over the Midwest alongside luminaries like Freak Nasty, El P, Derrick Carter, Commix, Logistics, Dieselboy, DJ Sage, Dj Shiva, & Cherub. She has herself inspired a whole generation of local DJs who have watched her pour everything into a set night after night for as long as they've lived. Her sets are a glimpse of the soundtrack of her soul: fun, melodic and hard-hitting. She keeps an open format these days, with drum & bass, radio rap, pop, dubstep, uk garage, trap, old school hip-hop, and a sprinkle of throwbacks or house to keep it fresh. Nothing is ever off limits. Her soundscape breeds inclusiveness. It is the sound of a city, provided by one of its very own living legends.

Over the past couple of years Gouki has become a rising star in the drum and bass scene. This Birmingham based producer is known for his signature blend of sub genres. After a catalogue of self releases, he eventually caught the interest of major labels such as Gorilla warfare and Allstars Raw.

Gouki began his music career performing in multiple bands at an early age but quickly fell involve with electronic music. After Graduating with a bachelors in music production he began to produce a range of high quality music. After a few years of developing his sound, he settled on a combination of dnb styles. 

Gouki is typically known for his jump up sounds but tends not lean to heavy into any one sub genre. Usually combining Neurofunk drums with rolling heavy basses, He aims to hit multiple themes while staying true to his artistic vision. 

Anyone who’s followed Gouki’s career has noticed the recurring Japanese themes throughout his music. Wether it be through samples or artwork , he’s always kept a strong eastern vibe to his persona. Despite being a relatively new producer the dnb scene has welcomed his arrival with great enthusiasm of whats to come.
