Welcome to Earth blazes a genre-defying trail through breaks, drum & bass, reggae & dub. The journey swerves through dancefloor bangers such as “Renegade”, “Game Control” and “Glow” which features a classic vocal from MC Duke, through to the more emotive breaks of “Stay Calm” and “Static”. Reggae and dub vibes are strongly represented by the ragga infused “Protector” featuring MC Tenja and the dubbed out sub tempo rumblings of “Game Control Dub”. To complete the package, a collaboration with heavyweight producer Pyramid serves up a monster piece of drum & bass in the form of “Trouble In My City” featuring strong vocals from Freefall Collective’s own MC Manic.

I've been mixing for about 19 years and have gone from Hardcore to House to Garage and then finally started mixing what I really love; Drum & Bass, and the fascination hasn't stopped yet.

Since 1989, Rob Nutek has aspired to be an entertaining and consistent performer/DJ/producer.

His journey with music began studying the House and Techno movements in the United Kingdom during the late 80's and early 90's. He played at various venues throughout the Midlands area of the UK staying focused on finding trademark sound.

With the experience he gained playing his local circuit, Rob Nutek emerged as a DJ who understands his audience. His knowledge of House Music coupled with the experience of moving big crowds left him wanting to bring his sound to new frontiers .His perseverance paid off and in 1996, through a short series of events, what would have been a short trip to California ended up with many a night spent rocking the sunshine state with his own love for music. He played at The Luxor 'Club Ra' (Las Vegas), Transitions (San Francisco), Candyland 
(Los Angeles), and Dome (Hollywood) among others. He also held residency at 'A Deeper 
Level Cafe' (Santa Monica) and made several features on California’s No.1 Dance Station, Groove Radio 103.1. 

In 2001, Nutek headed to Asia to set up base in Thailand playing for seasoned partygoers at Bangkok City's top haunts including the likes of Q Bar, Bed, Narcissus, La Luna, and Lucifer (to name a few) while he also frequented the decks of parties in the 'Ibiza of the East' - the breathtaking islands of Koh Samui and Koh Phangan Legendary FullMoon party. He  played at the wonderfully secluded divers paradise of Khao Tao. Also in this time in Thailand he made a quick trip to play at Venom and hold a small production seminar in Calutta , India.
Word of his chameleon-like style got around Thailand , and before he knew it, Rob Nutek landed a bi-weekly residency at Bangkok's super club, FLIX where he held a 2-year residency, playing along side the likes of Judge Jules, Lil Louis Vega and Seb Fontaine.
2006 saw Rob Nutek headed south towards the equator, travelling to Malaysia to take a resident DJ position at The Loft ‘Upstairs' (Kuala Lumpur) which at the time was leading the local dance music scene. With international djs gracing the same turntables on regular occasions this made his want for more increase, his penchant for understanding music and crowds carried with him, landing him regular gigs at assorted events around Malaysia and in the neighboring Singapore, Brunei, Thailand.
Now settled in Kuala Lumpur (KL), he continued mastering his ear for music and sound, playing the scene around KL’s crowd favorites such as Frangipani’s, Bar Club , Mansion, Maison, Boiler Room, Twenty-One, Pulse, Cynna, Space and Telawi Street Bistro. It was also around this time when he started looking seriously into the idea of production and thus began his evolution into a DJ-Producer. He joined forces with friends and fellow DJ's, Glynn Tandy and Blastique to form NU-TANDIQUE as a quick project, an electro based outfit. Their maiden effort was in collaboration with The CUT (Sydney), a track - 'Gimme Head' by the Radiators, a well known Australian punk band. 
It was released in the Australian charts and stayed in the Top 10 for the ten consecutive weeks eventually resting on a comfortable number three. 'Gimme Head' is featured (signed, Vicious Records, AU) with the MINISTRY OF SOUND SESSION 5 ANNUAL '08. 
In the recent months, he signed 5 tracks (Techno) with BAROQUE Records (UK) and have been released on all major sites for download. (Beatport, Audio Jelly, DJdownload.com, Juno, etc)
He has also teamed up with DJ Mark Lewis (MIXOLOGY, USA) to form HOLLYWOOD KNIGHTZ, a creative collaboration also involving producer Sean Ray (Los Angeles, California). Promos releases are already available for the remixes of Paul Oakenfold’s “MESMERIZED”
Rob is currently playing regular sets at the famed ClubLime, Phuket (Thailand), WhiteRoom, Kota Kinabalu (Borneo), and at the uber-cool Luna Bar, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)  also gracing the decks at Bar Twenty One in Kuala Lumpur, recently started a residency  Quinte  and for all those times when he is not behind the decks, he is constantly in creation of new productions. Recently he had  2 top 100 placings on trackitdown.com reaching number 37 and 74 with a track on Baroque records called Excite Me and Listen To The Lyrics on his own label RE:NU Productions.
September 2010 and Rob Has had 37 releases to date predominately in the last 2 months, these songs getting great support from Alist djs like Roger Sanchez ,Yousef  and K-Klass, he is currently signed to various labels including Baroque , Rebel, Babylon, Axis, Perfecto, GutFeel records and System and with his own Label now in effect,  RE:NU PRODUCTIONS is about tech house as Rob is a firm believer that its growing and will be main stage in the near future. The label had its first release hitting Beatport august 31st 2010 With his Single LET IT REIGN available from Beatport and all major download music stored. (**see websites**) 
 
Now 2011 and things are moving faster than anticipated. With a big possibility of playing at WMC MIAMI this year and a chance to showcase his label and productions the excitement is rising fast.January 18th 2011 and he is featured on the trackitdown.com tech house page with his track Weather Weapons and Listen To The Lyrics. January 19th and Listen To The Lyrics Hits the Tech House top 100 at Number 51.
 Rob is on his way to laying down a sturdy and powerful foundation for his next  12 months of dj sets and productions, ensuring him a great foot hold in today’s Tech-house music scene worldwide.

2011 we will see Rob Team up with some very cool names,Some amazing collaborations on the way and performances coming later this year. Now Full steam ahead for RE:NU and his monika Rob Nutek with 10 collaborations including Angel Alanis, Max Graham, Nick Corelli, Jason young, Huggie, Theeo ,Tom Pooks, Suresh Nelson of Dialogue7 plus more.. he is sure to make an impact on the scene worldwide. 
As Rob Nutek continues to discover new layers to add to his music, both as a dj, producer and remixer, he continues to discover himself as an entertainer, an artist, and as a person he is now ready for his next achievement .
