here we bring the second edition of remixes of the release we prepared a few months ago in which several artists from different countries presented us the magnificent theme of ‘Bonsai’.

Roswell brother, Cali Burton, Xcentrico, H and Playa del Karma were the original artists of the work.

In this second edition we bring a remix pack to accompany this great release.

Bonsai ( JAMES ROD Remix )

Considered one of the most talented artists of his generation, Fausto (SXDNS064) has long been recognized for his unapologetically bold approach to electronic music, crafting pieces that hit with visceral intensity and raw, instinctual energy. His latest EP, “K-Man,” released via Nativo (the label he co-founded), marks a subtle but compelling evolution in his sound. Premiered here, Roliva’s rework of the title track takes Fausto’s original and reshapes it into a blistering, acid-laden weapon. Roliva (SXDNS379) strips down the elements and reassembles them with a fiercer, more primal edge, amplifying the theme’s intensity while preserving its muscular core. Jagged synth lines slice through pounding percussion, creating a relentless groove built for dark, sweat-drenched rooms. Yet, beneath the aggression, there’s a calculated precision – a reminder that even at its most untamed, this is music with purpose. Laion touches down on Feinstoff with a sublime four-tracker that channels the sleek allure of Italo, the sun-drenched moods of early ’90s house, and a sprinkle of rave.
Opening with Hand Hand Paw, an irresistibly hooky bassline slides in early and takes hold, driving high-octane momentum with a glint of trance in its DNA, where rave energy fuses with crisp, Neo-Italo vibes. Built with the floor in mind, it pushes towards an acid-laced finale that seals the deal.
Doctr steps up for the remix, zeroing in on the original’s addictive bassline and letting it dominate the space. A commanding, stomping groove takes hold, stripped back to pure power, with precision layers and sharp dynamics showing Doctr in top form.
JYF shifts the mood into brighter territory, a dominating bassline carrying a French disco shimmer. Major and seventh notes add warmth and lift, while snare rolls build the tension toward a drop that slides in smooth and keeps the floor locked.

As we have always said at Sprechen, one of the best things about running a label is being able to work with people that have played a significant role in soundtracking your journey through music. It’s with this latest release that we can tick that box again and welcome Jon Pleased Wimmin to the label for a stomping collaboration with Bristol based self-confessed ‘House Music Fanatic’, Dave K.

Higher is the result of these 2 musical minds getting together in the studio and is a no holds barred, peak time pumper that thunders out of the traps and cranks the endorphin machine up to 11. With nods to Fantazia rave tapes of your youth and dashes of secret hidden parties in Ibiza, this has all that and more.

Both chaps deliver their own remixes with Dave K dropping a darker Italo take that is full of ample pumping elements with a suitable roof raising piano breakdown, a biggie!
Jon Pleased Wimmin takes things more subterranean and cranks the tempo to full force tops off territory on his ‘Poppers’ mix which does indeed hit you like a blast of amyl nitrate!

With Call The Ball, Feinstoff marks its eighteenth release, handing the reins to Cologne’s ETANE for a four-track trip moving with the tension of indie dance, the grit of EBM and a post-punk undercurrent. On the flip, the title track is reimagined by French artist MMYYLO, known for his slow-burning, analogue-driven darkness.

Johns Empire locks into a stripped-back drive, its mechanic bassline grinding forward with precision. The floor is clearly its destination, but the track keeps a post-punk shadow hanging over every bar. An eerie lead cuts through the mix with goosebump intensity, all wrapped in pristine production that shows ETANE at his sharpest. A cut that speaks the Feinstoff language in its purest form.
