Thrillng Cities Music is inspired by the travelogue, Thrilling Cities, by the James Bond author Ian Fleming. The book was first published in the UK in 1963. The cities covered by Fleming were Hong Kong, Macau, Tokyo, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, New York, Hamburg, Berlin, Vienna, Geneva, Naples, and Monte Carlo. If you were to take a role call for the cities who are on the forefront of food, art, and music these cities would most certainly be present. Music provides a way to transport the listener to a time or place conjuring up, hopefully, good memories or thoughts. I don’t let BPM’s set the boundaries for the night. There’s so much music from around the world why would you want to limit yourself to just a few genres? I pull from hip hop, funk, soul, Top 40, rock, r&b, house, electro, moombahton, trap, dubstep, reggae, ghetto funk and everything in between. Hope you enjoy the trip.
