Die Alternative-Rock Band Coruna High setzt sich aus den vier Münchner Musikern Nick Nevarez, Scarly Rose, Bob Däzs und Toki Peacetooth zusammen. Gleich bei ihrem Debütauftritt 2011 traten sie als Auftaktband des Inselrauschen Festivals in München auf, bei dem auch die Band Itchy Poopzkid vertreten war. Kurz darauf spielte Coruna High als Supportband der Musikgruppe Kellner und brachte im Sommer 2011 ihre erste EP "ZOOZEBRA" heraus. Diese verhalf ihnen direkt zu einer Live-Session bei der Radiostation TopFM 106,4. Vom Sender als "Local Heros" betitelt, rundete die Band ihr erfolgreiches erstes Jahr mit weiteren Auftritten wie beispielsweise auf dem Gasteig Festival und dem Rocken und Poppen Festival ab. Nachdem sie im Juli 2012 ihr erstes Live-Album namens "Slim’n’Jim" veröffentlichten, schafften sie es infolge zahlreicher Performances bis in die German Finals des „Hard Rock Rising“, des internationalen Battle of the Bands Contests. 
Ende 2012 erschien mit "Sing" ihre zweite EP, die es auf Anhieb in die Alternative-Charts bei iTunes und auf Platz 6 der AmazonMP3 Charts schaffte. Seit Anfang 2013 arbeiten Frontsänger Nick Nevarez und Schlagzeuger Bob Däzs zusammen mit den neuen Bandmitgliedern Scarly Rose (Gesang) und Toki Peacetooth (Gitarre), an dem neuen Album „State of Confusion“, welches am 19. Juli 2013 erscheinen wird. Einen Tag zuvor starten die vier jungen Musiker die Festivalsaison mit einer großen Album-Releaseparty im Hard Rock Café München.

The alternative rock band Coruna High consists of the four Munich musicians Nick Nevarez, Scarly Rose, Bob Däzs and Toki Peacetooth. On it's very first gig, Coruna High performed as opening act at the "Inselrauschen Festival München" together with the rock band Itchy Poopzkid in 2011. Shortly afterwards, the band supported the artist Kellner on his concert tour. In 2011 Coruna High released it's first EP named "ZOOZEBRA" that led directly to a live session at the radio station TopFM 106,4, which subsequently titled them Local Heros. They ended their successful first year with further appearances at festivals such as the "Gasteig Festival" or the "Rocken und Poppen Festival". After they released their first album "Slim´n´Jim" in July 2012, Coruna High fought its way up to the German Finals of the "Hard Rock Rising", the international Battle of the Bands contest. In the end of 2012 they released their second EP named "Sing", which entered the alternative charts of iTunes and climbed up to No. 6 of the AmazonMP3 charts. Since the beginning of 2013 lead singer Nick Nevarez and drummer Bob Däzs are collaborating with the new band members Scarly Rose (vocals) and Toki Peacetooth (guitar) on their new album "State of Confusion", which will be released on 7/19/2013. One day before, the four musicians will open the festival season with a huge album release party at the Hard Rock Cafe Munich.
