Team Fortress 2 - The Calm

One of the things I love about writing music is when you have an idea that sits for ages, quietly, waiting for you to figure it out. This was such a piece - I'd almost forgotten about it, then messed around with it and realised it was great. Title inspired by reading Stephen King on my back step.

Riot Yards

A brooding cinematic instrumental inspired by The Dark Knight Rises. Built around pulsing string and synth ostinatos, industrial percussion, and ambient textures, this track moves with hypnotic intensity. It begins in minimalist tension, gradually layering rhythmic motifs and harmonic pressure before erupting into a defiant climax. Perfect for scenes of inner struggle, heroic endurance, or psychological suspense. For fans of Hans Zimmer, dark orchestral soundscapes, and emotionally restrained storytelling through sound.

Music from the latest trailer for V0.8 - a cinematic trailer showing the overhaul of our lighting in areas of the LCZ!

Musically, there are some interesting moments in this - most noteworthy though is that when we show certain areas and entities, we hear the theme or a variation of that theme to those areas and entities, which I felt was very important to do to additionally evoke the feeling of those places as we see them in their new moods.
