I experienced God in this storm and He forever changed my life.

The majesty and peace of the Lord Jesus Christ

But darkness did not want to let go, demons hold on tight.

I asked Him, "God... is there no hope left?". He replied, "You already know, there's always hope."

Harmony with the eternal Creator, a bliss beyond description...

"You are the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. The apex of everything, God of the universe, and I will forever serve you my Lord."

"Wow..." I was stunned and awestruck by what I had experienced...

I once was suffering so much, that I wanted the end. I was trapped in a claustrophobic darkness. Dread, depression, misery, insomnia, endlessly in torment. All of my hobbies, interests, knowledge, everything I knew and loved could not provide any relief from this anymore. I was trapped, enslaved in darkness, and finished. So I cried out to God in complete hopelessness, with the intention of asking Him to remove me entirely. What happened instead forever changed me. During a particular thunderstorm (and having been sober for years), I experienced and connected with the Lord God Almighty and perceived His omniscience, omnipotence, omnipresence, and His divine love as only a Creator could love His creation. His presence, completely outshined everything I had ever experienced before, and effortlessly swept away my fears, sorrows, numbness, despair. He healed me and replaced my darkness with radiant light. He set me free, He replaced all of my suffering with peace, joy, hope, and a newfound confidence. I could only sit there in complete and utter awe as my entire being transformed internally and my old atheist belief system fell apart. What a wonder to experience so many negative thought pathways which once tormented me, turn to rivers of life, to watch all of my fears bow before the Supreme and Sovereign God of all the universe. This is an experience that only God could make possible. It was impossible shortly before it happened, but it happened. This had the signature of Jesus Christ on it and I knew it. So I wrote this song in SunVox as I was experiencing this unbelievable transformation, and really feel like it captures the essence of this transformation and the experiences with these thunderstorms. I want to share this amazing experience with you, that you may hopefully find the greatest treasure that I've been so fortunate to find. It is so hard to find God, He flees from the proud and is there with the humble. But if you can trust Him in your entirety, perhaps you may find Him too. The world is only getting darker and we need light in this dark, dark, world. The Lord Jesus Christ is the answer you're looking for. I promise you this with everything I am.
