Rave Cast No. 009 ist nun verfügbar und kommt von @unexpected_dj, einem französischen DJ und Produzent aus Lyon. 

2016 entdeckte er für sich den Techno und ist seitdem von dieser Musik regelrecht gefesselt. Inspiriert von frühen Tracks von David Guetta aus den 2000er Jahren, bis hin zu kraftvollem Dark Techno von I Hate Models,
sucht er immer nach der Unvorhersehbarkeit in der Progression seiner Tracks, hohen BPM's aus reinen Kicks, gemischt mit melancholischen Melodien. Seine Mixe reichen von Acid, Warehouse und Dark Techno. 

Außerdem ist er Teil des 2016 gegründeten Labels Corymb.

Mit diesem Set möchte Unexpected? zu seinen Wurzeln des rohen  Technos zurückzukehren.


Rave Cast No. 009 is out!!! This time with @unexpected_dj who is a French DJ and producer from Lyon. 

He discovered Techno in 2016 and never since stopped listening to it. Taking inspiration with early tracks from David Guetta back in 2000s to powerful dark techno from I Hate Models, Unexpected? seeks for unpredictability in his tracks progression, high-bpm of pure kicks mixed with melancholic melodies.
His mixes range from Acid, Warehouse, and Dark Techno. 

He is also part of the label Corymb founded in 2016.

This DJ-set is a desire to return to a more raw techno podcast.

He was born and raised in Georgia, Batumi, lived and studied in Ukraine for a short, to return and gain respect in Georgia's capital Tbilisi,for time being regarded as Techno's hottest spot. He’s naturally modest, not very effusive, and quite thrifty in his statements. Il y a un an jour pour jour, je faisais l'acquisition de mon premier contrôleur. Depuis ce jour, le mix est devenu une passion renforçant d'autant plus l'amour que je porte à la Musique depuis que je suis enfant. Ayant déjà sorti 4 sets ( le 4ème est dispo sur le SoundCloud du collectif Prohibition), il était tout naturel que je fête mon anniversaire de coton de mix en sortant mon 5ème set. Après une révolution complète de la Terre autour du soleil, ce set est pour moi l'occasion de faire le point, en plus ( je l'espère !) de vous ambiancer.

L'idée était de faire un set seulement avec des sons que j'ai diggé pendant ce dernier mois, donc il y a  un peu de tout les styles dans ce set, qui va de 148 bpm à 170.

J'en profite pour remercier toutes les personnes que j'ai côtoyé pendant cette année, que ce soit des personnes elles-mêmes dans la musique ou juste les personnes avec qui j'ai partagé un moment de vie, en soirée, after ou autre. La liste est beaucoup trop longue pour espérer tous vous citer, mais je pense qu'iels se reconnaîtront !

Exactly one year ago, I purchased my first controller. Since that day, mixing has become a passion, increasing the love I always have for Music. With already 4 podcasts ( the 4th one is available on the SoundCloud of Prohibition), it was obvious that I was gonna celebrate my dj birthday with a 5th podcast. After a complete revolution period of the Earth around the sun, this podcast is for me the chance to assess where I am in term of djing, in addition to ( I hope so) make you dance!

The idea was to make a podcast only with songs I discover during the last month, so there is a lot of different styles in it! It starts at 148 bpm and ends at 170.

I also want to thank all the people I was lucky to hang on with this past year, may they be musicians too or just people I share some moments, in party, after party or other. The list is wayyyy too long for me to give names, but I'm sure they will recognize themselves !

I'm looking forward to see you at parties, in the crowd or behind the decks!

Based in Rennes and strongly influenced by the acid vibrations emerging from the other side of the Channel, it’s through Acid UK and flagship labels of this movement that DICA finds the first impulse to create his own music. Quickly surrounded by an analogical arsenal, we find him a few years later with an already perfectly-mastered hard-techno live, ready to make the walls sweat.

Today, his overboosted sound has found its place on labels such as Fluctuat Rec, KTK, Recollection, or even Stay Up Forever… We can already say that the circle is complete.

In their live acts, you can find strong kicks, drifting glacial atmospheres and textures, aggressive sounds coming straight from modular synthesizers.
