I spin only the heaviest and sickest ebm - industrial - darkwave tracks.

Since summer 2013 I use SoundCloud to disseminate and exchange small pieces of music which I usually play on bass. Beside my current band in the area of rock and old school punk-rock this is an important activity to keep a proper balance between my day-time profession in academia/research and my private life.

In particular, when I started recording, my idea was to compose music for elevators and phone waiting-loops. The first recordings I did with my BOSS RC-30 looper, which I still use today for practicing quite often. The tracks are mostly created in an ad-hoc approach and the ideas remain as raw as they were during first shot. Due to time, the effort for post-processing is always kept very low ;-)

In addition, I write reviews on basses. A first try, you find on the Web-Site of the German manufacturer Bassart – the review is about my Amazing Standard (see the links below). A further review addresses my 6-string Groover from Ralf Börjes build in 1995. This is the by far coolest bass on the planet. The article was published in the German magazine Bassquarterly (Nov./Dec. Issue in 2017 – see the links below).

Ten (Dominic Deane) is a musician and artist who resides in between the north and south west of England, UK and has making experiment and ambient music since 2009. Ten’s sound combines electronic  keys, shoegaze noise and percussion with the acoustic sounds of glockenspiel and strings to create a beautiful cinematic sound-scape that moves from slow, eerie and melancholic to pulsating and optimistic. Ten have kindly supported, Tim Hecker, Stuart Braithwaite of Mogwai, Esmerine and Lucky Dragons. He has released records on Murmur, Cathedral Transmissions, Twice Removed and Heath Death to name a few. He has also appeared in groups  Sunwolf, November Fires, Deadwall and improvised band Trouble the Dark.
