Loxodrome is the alias of UK producer Jamie Odell aka Jimpster for his more electronic leanings into the fault lines between nostalgia and circuitry.  Rooted firmly in the underground, his Loxodrome output filters the spirit of early 90s IDM through contemporary patchwork—equal parts introspective and rhythm-driven.
Call Me’s ghostly whistles sing over a unrelenting four/four kick whilst tropical samples combine with vintage synths like a love letter left on a dial-up modem.  Nostalgic, yes—but warped through future tense.

Humanitarianism has never confined itself to borders or regions; on the contrary, it is a global phenomenon aiming to make the world a slightly better place. That being said, let us tell you about our people. People have been governed for 30 years by the same ruling class whose moral compass does nothing but defy the definition of humanity. Despite three decades of oppression, theft and civil destruction, people made Beirut a hub for culture and art. All was good, people remained vibrant, music still found its way to the world even amidst multiple wars and a nationwide revolution and we remained one of the go-to countries for music & art.All was good until August 4th, 2020. On that day, and after being improperly “stored”, 2700 tonnes of ammonium nitrate destroyed half of our capital. 200 innocent lives were lost, thousands were injured and 300,000 lost their homes. People became spiritless, speakers stopped humming and culture was blown to rubble. As expected, it was up to traumatized people to rebuild. In a country suffering from heavy immigration, capital control, economic recession, corruption, and hyper-inflation on top of a global pandemic, people are broke and drowning.As humans first and as a platform with international recognition second, Feedasoul owe it to their people, the people who made them who they are today, to raise their voices. After a series of campaigns to raise funds for NGOs, in which they are forever grateful to every helping hand, they decided to take the initiative of compiling this Bandcamp exclusive VA. In addition to their talented artists, they’ve reached out to three extraordinary artists that they genuinely look up to. Immediately, all three were ready to support the citizens of Beirut in any way possible. Each one submitted a track and waived their fees, without a second’s thought, in order to maximize our impact. And for that, Feedasoul are eternally grateful. Their are deeply touched by the show of support from the international community and we're really happy to share to our BB community this lovely premiere today.

The second release out on Nothin Personal comes from Melbourne based artist 'Don Glori'.

An anagram is a word or phrase formed by rearranging the letters of a different word or phrase. Don Glori, AKA Gordon Li, takes this concept and applies it to his name as well as his music. Deconstructing the sounds and elements of the music that he loves and recontextualising them into his own signature sound.

Carefully considered compositions that facilitate heavy doses of improvisation, Don Glori’s music reflects a deep fascination in jazz, house and Brazilian music. Tied together by his inimitable spirit and dedication to making it groove.

‘Dawn Calling’ is Don Glori’s first offering to the world, recorded live to tape over two sweltering summer days in February 2020, it captures Don Glori and his band at their best. They wear their influences proudly - touching on elements of jazz, broken- beat, house and Brazilian music. The record traverses between melancholic, textural landscapes with spiritual jazz overtones through to enchanting group vocals and again metamorphosing into synth laden grooves built entirely around the rhythm- centric marriage of the bass and drums.
