Die erste EP von Blindsymth nennt sich „Secret Walls“ und ist zugleich das Debütrelease des Labels Cosmic Society. Der Track basiert auf Samples, die Blindsmyth in einem Bunker aus dem zweiten Weltkrieg, in seiner Heimatstadt Schweinfurt für einen Improauftritt aufgenommen und zu elektronischen Drumsets verarbeitet hat. Zu seiner Inspiration sagt Blindsmyth: „Jeder Mensch trägt in sich eine Art Bunker, in dem er seine tiefsten Gefühle versteckt, vor sich selbst oder vor anderen Menschen..“

For our next release, we are super excited to showcase and welcome Caly Jandro to the Beat&Path family.

Caly, a young upcoming Melbourne based Producer/DJ and founder of the Boogie Beats Collective has brought us something special for his debut. A disco-esque cut, with organic drums and layered jungle sounds featuring a beautiful North African style vocal which really brings the track to life. Caly adds that “once the bulk of the track was done, my friend Steve (Highway Beauty) laid down some keys and made the track wholesome”.

On the flip side label members,  The Drunken Apaches (one half Out of Sorts & Cyril Orson our designer) take you on a hypnotic rendition. A subtle 303 riff under the mix, with haunting strings, clanking chords and pitched down vocal samples pull this edit together.

Dolph takes us on a joyride under the wide musical horizon that is so typical for him, using an ambling groove and the power of musical warmth as a means of propulsion. In his track Into he sends a colorful carpet of harmonic fragments drifting on the subtle flow of the rhythm, arranging and rearranging on the soft undulations of the bass like a kaleidoscopic narrative. It comes with two remixes, each picking up one of the two prevailing moods of this title: Lukas Endhardt puts a focus on the dreamy aspects, creating an idyllic Downbeat version. Toni Haupt on the other hand aims at the dancefloor and accordingly provides a solid dose of boost and pressure. Then there's the programmatic title Constant Change that keeps morphing into ever new shapes and atmospheres, making it a very stimulating affair on all different levels of the production.

We are very proud to release https://soundcloud.com/mahfoudmusic 's master piece and debut album ‘The Fear Of Dying With Potential’ on Klassified Records this spring.
This producer, vocalist and classically trained guitarist has a passion for art and music with multidimensional perspectives. He mixes traditional instruments with electronically driven sounds in his work. This statement of intent is informed by his heritage, his parents leaving Syria and being a foreigner in his adoptive country.
“All these memories have shaped me as a human being but even more so the way I look at music. No matter where I go, I feel a little bit like a stranger and a little bit like I’m home. Wherever I went in this world, my first impulse would be to take an instrument into my hands and play with locals, record their singing, their drumming, humming or their laughter. When language failed, music prevailed, when words could not describe enough, music would bring tears of joy and understanding.”
He says the music on the album is “a reflection of these stages of my life” and that the writing process taught him that, “only through sharing, believing in others and helping them reach their dreams we truly will be fulfilled, we will feel home.“
