BUT WHAT IS AN ADDA?

Markedly different from small talk or chatting, ADDA is best described as a freestyle conversation that's long, fluid, and relaxed in nature. While "Adda" can loosely be translated as "Hangout", this loses the nuances and oversimplifies the action. You are not expected to produce something out of an Adda. A perfect Adda should include a little bit of everything – politics, art, literature, science, debate, gossip, jokes, food, cigarettes, and tea – and can take place anywhere: in a private home, a local tea shop, the park or a veranda or even in a music studio.

In the AURAL ADDA, we will let the music do the talking. We want the Adda sessions to grow organically and create a community pan India that shares the same vision of keeping it Pure and Psychedelic.

This is the second psychedelic journey compiled by the label heads Ignis and Mitra who selected ten masterpieces of powerful psychedelic music. Starting with the Brazilian well known act Sychotria the course of obscurity sounds goes through a collaboration between Paranoize from Israel & Ectogasmics from Sweden/Germany, Swiss based Digitalist and his "Labyrinth Of The Universe" to an upcoming artist collaboration between Civil Disobedients & Mark Day from the United Kingdom. Further Conxion from Ectogasmics comes up with an "NY Meatloaf". Nyama & Bombax from Hamburg/Germany will let you know how "Rainbow Juice" sounds like. No time to take a breath as Sushupti from Portugal and Loose Connection from the United Kingdom continue with the obscure soundscape.
