I had several inspirations for this track: Gesaffelstein (artist), The Neon Demon (film), Hotline Miami (game), Death Stranding (game). I tried to connect my style of hard electronics with dance style, trying to keep this idea unique

This one was special – captaining the steamship at the Dampfer stage from 00:00 - 03:00, a goal I set back in 2023 when I first waddled through those infamous duck gates.

Got to sneak in four of my own originals, plus some unreleased heat from a few of my favourite local and international troublemakers. What a treat.

Big love to everyone who danced, raged, and shouted things at me I couldn’t hear over the foghorn.

Hope to return to the captain’s deck again soon.

The "Raw Bass Revision" is dervied from an earlier version and tries to preserve some of the raw energy (which sometimes gets a little lost during the process)

We all know those situations — the dancefloor is packed, the bass is pumping, and you just want to dance… but some people are just standing around in the middle, chatting about the latest gossip and maybe nodding their heads at most (However, that’s totally fine in general ;))
This track isn’t meant to offend, sometimes it just kills the vibe for those who want to bounce. 😉

Born in Cologne and raised up in southern bavaria, reyneke started playing classical guitar when he was 10 years old. Growing older he eventually discovered punk rock, so he switched his wooden guitar to an electric and started playing in bands. At the same time he had his first electronic music experience visiting cosmic music (some sort of slow techno only popular from italy till south of germany) and goa partys. From this time on, he produced music with only his computer and the - rather basic - tools of the end 90s softsynth era and trackers. After a long period of doing mainly reggae/dancehall instrumentals, he came back to electronic music when moving to berlin in 2010. Since then he is fascinated by the rather slow & deep side of this genre. In 2018 and 2019 he had the first releases with his projects @PHUEXE and @Bassaramusic (with @sahrabass) which found a good resonance with popular DJs like Mira, Madmotormiquel and others, who played the tunes on big festivals like Fusion and Garbicz.
