With our next release for May being right around the corner, we'd like to share our next mix session with the artist on remix duties! With all the amazingly talented women of the world making moves in House Music, we've been eager to get someone on board that we've had our eyes and ears on these recent years.

Petals in Sound (Louise Baldwin) is a UK-based producer and DJ. After over a decade of living, working and partying in South East London, Petals In Sound recently relocated to Crosby in Liverpool. Following a number of years experimenting with music production, Petals In Sound finally found her groove during the 2020 Covid lockdown.

Since then, she's been sought after for releases on a number of great labels, including one of our personal favorite labels out of Berlin, Dirt Crew Recordings. With more projects on the horizon, Petals In Sound is one to watch.

Her unique sound draws influences from artists such as Daniel Avery and Bicep, through to LOFI-house favorite Baltra and DJ Seinfeld, combined with elements of jazz-influenced house such as Laurence Guy and Chaos in the CBD. Petals in Sound playfully attacks the fabric of deep house, pushing and pulling the genre into modern territory with clever and precise production techniques.

That all said, we're excited to have her on board for remix duties with our upcoming EP from Egypt's Adham Zahran. More to come on that soon! For now, we hope you enjoy this deep and groovy set from PETALS IN SOUND! :)

Hailing from Kagiso, a township in South Africa whose name means "Peace," BNinjas is a deep house producer whose work embodies both a unique creativity and authenticity. 

Over the years, South Africa has emerged as a hub for deep house talent, and BNinjas is one of the standout artists shaping its future.An underground House music enthusiast from the west side of Johannesburg, BNinjas has developed a core style that combines muted Deep House with soft, rounded edges,leaning toward minimalism without ever becoming monotonous. 

His music is defined by a raw yet refined blend of minimalist, floor-moving rhythms, with swinging MPC-driven drums that give his tracks a unique pulse. Drawing influence from artists like Max Graef and Glenn Astro, his sound balances subtle complexity with deep, danceable grooves, setting him apart in the underground House scene.
