Lateral Movement [Portugal]

In the nineties a move to the UK came as a consequence of his studies and with him a pulsating eagerness which helped Lateral Movement to dive right into the local music culture, effervescent as ever. There he meandered effortlessly through genres, taking him deeper into the arts whilst aiding his curiosity, from free jazz to indietronica. Returning to his homeland, Portugal, subtracted him from this rich diversity and forced him to become a strong supporter of the alternative scenes, where he looked to push people and projects that shared his values and vision. There and then he decided to embark on a different kind of journey and took upon himself the responsibility of discovering new music and to share it with the community. To this day techno and its many guises are his passion, especially the deeper and hypnotic realms, where ambience and atmosphere play the main role.

Hypnotic Black Magic is a Berlin-based Ambient DJ.
Creator of Ambient Sleepers and resident at Art Bei Ton, HBM's goal is to create musical journeys oscillating between dark and bright energies.
Inspired by ritualistic music, atmospheric ambient and hypnotic techno, she offers through her sets an exploration of obscure, meditative and sensual emotions.

Originally from a metalcore and hardcore background he has always enjoyed electronic and experimental music. Heavily influenced by this and the techno scene in Leipzig, Germany with its well known Institut fuer Zukunf his focus are impulsive rhythms, dissociative sounds and dark and
eerie atmospheres. 
As a founding member of PVC he is also co-organising raves in clubs and woods around the Leipzig area and working his way into the local scene.

Tobias Balghuber [Fur:ther Sessions | Germany]

In this mix from Tobias, he takes us through his finest vinyl selection of hypnotic techno soundscapes. The beautiful curation portrays a paced journey through tribal realms and Godly arenas.

It is a cosmic truth that music brings people together. Steve Chuha and Tobias Balghuber are a fine example of that theory. Two individuals crossed path midway on their musical pursuit. Both originally from Munich, Steve started his musical journey back in 2004 playing across Europe and during his lengthy stint in India. His love for Psy lead him to more thought provoking genres of Techno. Tobias started playing at small parties since 2013 and quickly gained acclaim. He became resident of Munich based label ‘Pitchbar Records’ and started his long journey playing at the big venues around the region like Harry Klein, Rote Sonne to new a few.

Steve and Tobias quickly recognised their mutual interest and passion in Techno. Steve created ‘Further Sessions’ as a platform that showcases some of the best talents that experiment with musical sounds. With this platform as foundation, the two vinyl aficionados started running events under the banner. The two are known for their punchy sounds well described as wildly playful and an amalgamation of sub-genres, . Steve and Tobias are living the theme of Further Sessions: "we must go forward, being aware that the past will never return”.
