how can I even believe in anything when the only thing I want is ripped off this earth and I watch as everyone runs to pillage her in the name of assistance while my own heart is bleeding and I suffocate on the words of hope I sing to children who scream at I government I have known for a decade will not be listening to such disgraceful things as anyone trying to stop them from fulfilling their own prophecy claiming this is their god and this is their earth and I yearn for dirt, I yearn for the sweet smell of our soil, I dream of fallen buildings and the feeling of dust in my throat and on my tounge as I try to swallow away the distinct sweet scent of charcoal and sulfur drifting through the air, the impact never taken with fear but as a right, my right to my land and the consequences of returning, I wake up distressed to be seperated from her, to live as a slave here, to be mocked for my skin here, to be held away from her and told I cant go back, I cry for my family, and I scream to see their smiles, smiles I know more from dreams of dust and blood than I remember them from photos, and I cannot remember but one day I will and God will allow me to return... so how can I believe in anything? when people spend their life trying to escape, I am dying to get back in, jealous of those able to return and contribute currently, knowing our lives are on the line, I quite frankly have never wanted to live mine, unless it meant being with her... I dont know how to continue... no dresses, no travel, no jewels, no perfect husband, no beautiful children, nothing will stop this... I dont understand how to have hope. I dont understand how to have faith. I just want to go home. I dont understand, and it's not fair. I just want to go home. I cant think straight. i just want to go home
