Codice Ratio is an alter-ego for the strange ambient music I'm trying to make. Influenced by the precepts of hauntology and the collection of archival recordings and sounds. Digging into the past, both recent and distant, to create soundscapes with synth and ambient loops. Also like to post spoken word poetry and fiction.

Recordings by me and my friends having fun playing "music" from 2000 until present day...
Most of these recordings do sound like crap,  due to the crappy recording-equipment we had/have and/or our lack of any musical education or the fact that we simply cant play .. and many of the tracks are improvised the first time we play them 
and played different ever after..allways a new twist..please use headphones and play this crap as loud as fuck!

Whatever fell from the cosmic sky, it landed in our home town Berlin. And is ready to take your mind on a beautiful journey. Bringing Earthless-level Heavy Psych into the local scene! Taking you into the endless universe, the lonely desert and the depth of the ocean as relaxing sounds and moody melodies will go along with you on this journey. Do you smell it? It's time for another take off!

Cosmic Fall was founded in June 2016 in Berlin and consists of Daniel (Drums), Mathias (Guitar/Vocals) and Klaus (Bass). The sound is assigned to Psychedelic Stoner Rock, but has also lots of classic rock and blues influences. The solo filled jam parts are typical and exciting and may remind you of “Colour Haze” or “The Machine”, but still have their very own charm. Many Guitar solos in the long songs fit in perfectly and are characteristic for the sound.
After only two months, the first album “First Fall” was recorded. It is completely self-produced and was released on 2016-08-17 on Bandcamp. The whole artwork was also created from the band. Many downloads and vinyl requests first led to the cd release on 2016-10-01. Clostridiumrecords released “First Fall” on 2017-01-20 on vinyl in three different versions.
On 2017-03-18 the second album “Kick Out The Jams” was released digitally and on CD via Bandcamp. It is an album full of jams and is also self-produced. The vinyl will follow in summer 2017 on a double LP.
