A strong set of original productions and remixes have not only launched Beatman and Ludmilla to the top of their genre, but have also made them firm favourites with Paul Oakenfold. Having heavily supported them in his sets and compilations, as well as employing their remixing services several times (Tokyo, Resurrection) The prospect of a debut single caused mass hysteria in the Perfecto office.

Enter “Bazantar”, the first original production from Beatman and Ludmilla on Perfecto Records. It’s breaks, it’s massive, it kicks like a rabid donkey and it has a huge eastern vibe with enough bass to hit the brown note. Oh and did we mention it features and enormous remix from Mr Oakenfold?

To quote our good friend Captain Birdseye, “you’ve found our gold, now tuck in”

Originally released on Perfecto back in 2002, “Requiem For A Dream” was arguably Leama’s biggest release with the equally sublime Dream and Ambient Mixes. Since then the track has gained somewhat of a cult status and is considered a key classic among the progressive fans (in the traditional sense of the word progressive – as opposed to the widely recognised genre sound of today).

Bringing the track bang up to date are new remixes from label head Paul Oakenfold, who’s features his version on his new “Cream 21” compilation album, progressive house stalwart Quivver - who turns in a deep, brooding take and one of our favs Andre Sobota - whose recent remix of Justin Oh’s “Find You” is still on daily rotation in the Perfecto office. Hot on the heels of his insane “Bullet in The Gun” makeover breaks legend Refracture delivers a truly delicious take which completes the package immaculately.   

With a powerful and varied mix of styles, this is a fierce package that will keep fans on all sides of the fence happy.

Long term friend of Paul Oakenfold - DJ Korean, aka Pavel Loginov, and Vini deliver a hot melodic number straight from Moscow. 

Anyone who has seen Paul Oakenfold DJ in the last 5 months will be familiar with his remix of the interestingly titled “Feel The Wife Vibe”. 

Paul’s mix which heads the package brings us a massive trance take that adds soaring stabs to the original’s almost Balearic vibe while DJ Korean and Funky Flo give us a far housier version.
