Starlight Jig

Decided to see what I could do with such a classic Mega Drive tune. You may know it better as the music for Sonic Megamix's Dark Fortress Act 1, though that really does this game a real disservice, it's one of the greatest MD soundtracks of all time. It's a real shame that this game never made it out of Japan, it looks like a really cool tactics game.

I made this track for Novatone's compilation "Obscure Genre Challenge." While I could've picked an actual obscure genre, I decided to go with what I've been producing lately: Chillhop.
It was fun to work on this! Love the Vaug7 and the VIaug7 chords in this. I also played the solo on the bridge! Of course, I barely play the keyboard, so it's very quantized, took a lot of attempts and I had to fix one note, but it was nice!
