Cosmik Konnect Podcast #02 – Featuring Ben Said

With great joy, I present to you the maestro Bensaid from Chile for the second edition of the Cosmik Konnect Podcast Series. A connection born from chance, strengthened by sound, and carried forward through this set.

I met Bensaid in the summer of ’25, and from the very first moment, the connection was instant, effortless, natural and deeply familiar. A big thanks goes to my brother Tkali for this Cosmik Konnection. The moment Ben arrived, we dove straight into music. What began as sharing a few tracks unfolded into an hours-long session of sounds, ideas, and inspiration. As day faded into night, our space shifted into deeper conversations about philosophy, life, and the music that shapes us. It was the kind of exchange that creates true resonance.

About Ben Said
Benjamin Garrido Diaz, based in Chile, is the creator of Bensaid and Voqui projects. He has been producing music and DJing since 2014. After living in Melbourne, Australia, Benjamin was exposed to wide range of music styles, which allows him to perform creative live sets that feature psy techno and dark progressive music ranging from 128bpm to 140bpm under the Bensaid Project, where Diaz excels ins seamlessly transitioning between bpms. Hes released on many renowned labels such as Zenon Records, Claroscuro Records, Katayy Records, Insonitus Records, Padang Records, Subtrail Records, Soupherb Records, Occultech Records, Alpaka Records and many more.

Prepare for a groovy, dark, and funky psytechno ride that pulls you in from the very first pulse. Bensaid delivers a driving, energetic flow that keeps the rhythm rolling and the mind engaged. Kafka Tempo presents AKA NINA, a Swiss DJ and producer based between Berlin and Goa. Her musical roots lie in the vibrant psytrance scene, where she began her journey playing energetic full-on sets. Over time, Berlin’s club culture opened new creative pathways, inspiring her to blend psychedelic organic textures with deep, dark techno grooves.  A resident DJ with Berlin’s xXETEXx collective and Goa’s Vortex, she bridges two worlds — the underground pulse of India and the avant-garde edge of Berlin’s scene. Her productions have appeared on Zenon Records, Pointzero, Soupherb, Digital Structures, and her home label Kafka Tempo.  This set was recorded on September 17th, 2025, at the Visions of Gaggalacka event in Leipzig. It’s not your typical Nina set. Usually, she starts with slower BPMs and builds toward faster, more intense tunes, but this time she flipped the script.  Expect a journey that begins in the shadows of dark progressive and unfolds into classic psychedelic techno, a bold and unexpected twist that mirrors the spirit of that night.  Stay tuned for her next EP on Kafka Tempo, out in January 2026.

Raised early in his life on a staple diet of assorted electronic music over the years Cosmik Konnection aka. Dhruv Cosmik Khanna has spent his life mostly in India, Australia and Germany. 
Cosmik’s home base now is the techno capital of the world Berlin.His exploration into techno began ever since Berlin became his second home and in a short span of time he's managed to enthrall audiences with meticulously carved mixes and a wonderful vibe. He has produced & released his brand of techno music under labels like Soupherb Records & Patent Skillz Records.

He has opened for Claptone.Shared stages with artists like Ash Roy, Breger,Calm Chor,Dj Lion, Folic State,Markus Klee, Minitech Project,Kiki,Kaiser Souzai,Kotellet & Zadak,Kollektiv Ost,Skelesys,Umami and many more. Cosmik has also won the remix contest on Beatport for Dj Lion’s track Robosapiens released on Patent Skillz. 
He has been working very closely with Soupherb Records for a few years and has come up with his first ever techno compilation : VA- Continental Soup Vo.2   Featuring artists from all over the globe like The Reason Y, Insekt Elektrika,Concha, Chaostrail, Ian Chris and Philipp Bardez(Dsompa) to name a few.

Cosmik continues to promote “intelligent dance music” in all ways possible. Focusing on techno with deep tribal and tech house elements and psychedelic techno ,his style as a DJ has taken a more abstract and groovy funkier approach. 
 He has released tracks on Patent Skillz Records, Soupherb Records and Off the Moon Records. More releases coming soon!!
 
Cosmik is  also working as an A&R Manager for Soupherb Records based in Berlin.
