Maricopa returns to Back To The Balearics to complete his stunning opus, Pastel Love. And he continues where he left off building deeply textured songs packed full of simple melodies that really shine. His music opts for subtle feelings and passing vibes over the more obvious structures of ‘dance music’. The release of Part One led to a number of comparisons with the early work of Aphex Twin as well as more contemporary producers such as Four Tet. Such comparisons don’t come lightly, but Pastel Love demonstrates that a rare musical talent has arrived. The release again has beautiful printed covers and looks as good as it sounds. 2013 it's been a great year for Georgia-based duo Rotkraft - bunch of successful releases on labels like Nurvous Records, Kumasi Music, SpaceWalker Recordings, Exotic Refreshment or legendary Kompakt just speaks for themselves. Now they returns to their home at Exotic Refreshment with new outstanding EP, this time in collaboration with very talented vocalist Saint Kitten.

Their newest song "Red Wine" it's quite a trip. Modern nu disco sounds, great work on synths and hypnotizing voice of Saint Kitten takes the listener to another dimension. We knew that we need equally massive remixes for this one, and that's why we invited well known upcoming stars to make the EP even more interesting.

Click Click, a founder of Palms & Flamingos and a regular guest on well known imprints like Cajual Records, Smoke N' Mirrors, KATERMUKKE or Light My Fire, turned "Red Wine" into a real deep house monster.

Klar & PF (Glam Jam Artists / Pole Jam Records) delivered a pure funk killer - just listen, these guys do the magic!

Jon Sine, who is known from his great releases on Suara, Get Physical Music or Kindisch, did what he does best and gave a complex, hypnotic, deep and dubby blend of house, deep house. progressive and acid sounds in one awesome track.

And last but not least, a great remix from Bufi. Very talented Mexican producer who stole our hearts with his remix of "Dream of Bombay" released last year on Chookie. This one will rock the dance floors for sure!

I have again invited a group of very talented friends to rework some tracks from my last album, Elsewhere. "Don't You Feel" gets 3 distinct versions: From Munich, the duo COEO present a strong floor filler incarnated on a proper house song with heavy bass and a groove that can get the heavier feet dancing. Mexican labelmate Bufi gives the original a superb new swing fuelled with an addictive bassline and catchy pianos; The 3rd is a little more leftfield: DWARF's remix is intriguing, contemplative and beautiful, confirming the ever growing skills by this Portuguese producer. Finally, Mexican Future Feelings points "Anxiety" to the stars with a brilliant Spacey Disco interpretation. Happy and vibrant.
