Marco is born in Guatemala, Central America and since a young kid, ,he was always around percussion oriented music, listening artists such as Tito Puente, Poncho Sanchez, Cal Tjader, Herbie Hancock, Lee Ritnour, Viva Chicano, among others. This leads him to experiment with latin percussion, he practically begged to get a set of Congas and Bongos and this lead him to listen to new music aswell between those newly known artists we could find Santana, Bob Marley, the Beatles, Cultura Profetica. But the taste of music got so wide by him becoming part of the vital pulse of the music (percussion) started to re discover jazz again, and on this second journey he had a long stop at Blues, Rap and Hip Hop that have been part of his style for the most part. 
We expect to start unveiling more and more the diversity of influences that Marco is getting from everywere around the globe and we expect you enjoy the ride aswell.

Marco nació en Guatemala, Centroamérica y desde pequeño siempre estuvo rodeado de música orientada a la percusión, escuchando artistas como Tito Puente, Poncho Sánchez, Cal Tjader, Herbie Hancock, Lee Ritnour, Viva Chicano, entre otros. Esto lo lleva a experimentar con la percusión latina, prácticamente rogaba para conseguir un set de Congas y Bongos y esto lo lleva a escuchar música nueva también entre esos artistas recién conocidos podíamos encontrar a Santana, Bob Marley, los Beatles, Cultura Profetica. Pero el gusto por la música se amplió tanto que al formar parte del pulso vital de la música (percusión) empezó a redescubrir el jazz de nuevo, y en este segundo viaje tuvo una larga parada en el Blues, Rap y Hip Hop que han formado parte de su estilo en su mayor parte. 
Esperamos empezar a desvelar cada vez más la diversidad de influencias que Marco está recibiendo de todas partes del mundo y esperamos que tú también disfrutes del viaje.
