This EP is the fruit of collaborations, connecting singers and musicians from different backgrounds, languages and neighborhoods through their contribution to making groovy dancefloors. It is a reflection of the diversity that underlines daily life in Montreal. Each song started as a beat sent to the singer, and as they added their unique touch. Apart from this, the EP also showcases the contributions of six remixers each adding their distinctive flair : Tribulin Sound, Dvniel, Ka:lu, Matija & Richard Elcox and Nat Barrera. Music brought us together at parties, in someone's kitchen, on the beach, on a road trip, and it continues to bring us together to the studio to create new work to animate and soundtrack our adventures.

This slow ballad, written by Lionel Richie (Commodores), was perfect for creating an energetic and emotional dance track.
I worked on this edit on and off for 4 years, but I never got to the point where I liked the version. At some point I deleted all the original samples and suddenly everything worked by itself.
I replaced the distorted guitar elements and solos with striking synthesizer sounds and the melodic bass with a rhythmic and driving bassline. Little surprises here and there and a headbanging break to top it all off.

Kamai Music happily presents a wonderful four-track EP from @pullichomba entitled "Imaginaria," with two stellar remixes from Thommie G (@thomas-gaarthuis) and bepo (@bepo_daune). It is packed with 7 summery tracks in the typically groovy, bouncy style of our charming Mexican friend.The tracks radiate a vibrant atmosphere, instantly putting the listener in a holiday mood, perfect for relaxed afternoons or lively nights. The album shines with its variety of sounds while clearly bearing the distinctive signature of Antaares.
