The Chill Story

In 2008 we were merely a tiny hole in the wall..
Chill Café was formerly known as Nescoffeeshop until 2011. Initially it was a small al fresco space along with a bar, a sofa and several tables and chairs. People began to find out about us. Cafe Chill evolved in 2012 with a middle floor and brand new kitchen.
In 2013 we built the Chill Space, which was replaced by the new grand Bali style hi on the third floor in 2017.
In 2016 Cafe Chill acquired a relative... formerly known as View Point or Six Mile, it is now Chill Ville View Point Hotel and is 6 km from Ella on Passara Rd. It is nestled in tea country with magnificent views and stunning gardens. There are seven villas on the site, a very intimate restaurant, indoor and outdoor dining, bicycles, a swimming pool and wonderful meditation spaces.
Since the pandemic, Chill Cafe has received a massive face lift, a new logo and a brand new identity. Life throws us great challanges but no matter what we survive the king tide of change. More about that on the next page...
