Onward Music:
The label Onward Music was established in 2021 with a straightforward mission: to provide a platform for artists to showcase their exceptional music that might otherwise go unnoticed in the annals of history. In an era of rapid content consumption, quality music can easily be overlooked. However, Onward Music is determined to change that narrative and ensure that deserving artists receive the recognition they deserve.

The Onward Show:
The Onward Show is hosted by Jay Dubz every second and fourth Friday of the month on Bassdrive.com, 7-9PM UK Time, 1-3PM US Central Time. Expect fresh new music, classic cuts, awful banter and probably way too much talking.

Low:r is a UK drum & bass artist known for blending soulful musicality, funk-driven grooves and playful unpredictability into a sound that feels both uplifting and unmistakably his own. With releases on labels including Liquicity, Galacy, Spearhead, Program and Soulvent, he has become one of the scene's most recognisable voices in modern liquid drum & bass.

Music has always been at the centre of Ben Downton's life. Originally trained as a violinist and performing with the West Sussex Strings across the UK, he later swapped the bow for bass guitar before eventually finding his home in electronic music and the studio.

After first cutting his teeth as a dubstep DJ, Ben developed the Low:r alias and began shaping the sound he is known for today: soulful, energetic and full of character, with a strong sense of musicality running through everything he creates. The name itself, borrowed from a factory test unit, reflects an industrial-strength curiosity and ambition that continues to drive his work.

That sound has taken him from clubs such as Electric Brixton to main stages at festivals including multiple appearances at Liquicity Festival, while building a growing audience across the UK and Europe. Beyond releasing music and touring, he is also the founder of Undercurrent, a community-focused event brand dedicated to celebrating forward-thinking drum & bass and the culture that surrounds it.

Whether in the studio, behind the decks or through the Undercurrent movement, Low:r continues to push his sound forward without losing the playful energy and musical depth that made it stand out in the first place. One thing remains constant: taking things high:r.
