Mat the Alien - My NRG is a 170 BPM Drum and Bass track a creation mat has been envisioning for many years and finally coming to fruition with the help of Creative B.C.
Starting out Mat the the track idea out with notes for ideas for Vocals ETC
My NRG came to mind as well as other bits like enjoy the ride , Laughs , other little vocal bits thrown in.
Timmy Boom bap laid the drums which went edited and chopped
then vocals from Gisto adding a nice hook , Shauna Marshall , Shaun Hall and Emotionz w Adlibs.
Elliott also appears saying NRG
Mat runs the vocalsthrough Various Dub Delays and EFX
Shawn adds some juno Synth
The breakdown goes into a jazzy fill with a Freestyle fellowship vibe

My first live DJ set, performed with love (and a lot of anxiety!) at the Slow Rainbow Fade Anti-Apocalypse Takeover at SWOMP camp, Transformus 2022. Thanks to everyone for supporting me through this very very VERY long-avoided journey into DJ'ing. It's not perfect, but I think it's worth sharing what beginner DJ'ing can look like too!
