Another Chinese Cuisine we absolutely love (and many people do) is Hot Pot aka 打邊盧(Da Bin Lo) or 火鍋 🔥 To Us and to many - we see this as the perfect meal for the winter. After a few months of lockdown. The Sunday Stepper Society in the DimSumDistrict opens it's doors again for their weekly Mahjong sessions. We had an opportunity to speak to a small handful of these happy 'aunties' who haven't had a chance to play for a while. With one of the aunties saying "The over 2000 year old game is timeless and generation - bringing me closer and more curious about my Chinese heritage." Also an activity that has brought communities together according to another Auntie.

To provide the sunday energy influenced rhythms for these amazing and strong women are 5 artists that we have been amazed by. Big Up Alfredo Romero, Cooke, Donny Rotten, EYRA and Luke Hazell for helping us execute this idea with tracks of different styles. All showing appreciation of the tunes at the downtempo and more mellow end of the spectrum of steppy riddims.
