Ambient Snapshots

Every since I acquired U-he Zebra I always thought that it could produce sounds reminiscent of Buchla synths. So...I created this piece trying to imitate that great synth as best I could.



Zebra does Buchla

Analogue sounds from Korg MS20 mini plus fake trumpet and drum from Mixcraft 7.

Miles Off Target

Mostly soft synth sounds (Zebra) with a little 0 Coast and a few samples thrown together

Fuzzy Topology

I don't like this much but it might grow on me. Mixture of textures created by Mutable Instruments Braids and some soft synth clips. On the plus side the original track lasts about 30 minutes so be thankful for the editing. [A month later: I DO like it! - maybe I should take another listen to the 30 minute version.]

Heuristic Ambience

Another piece of nonsense with no discernible melody and very few points of interest but, nevertheless, sounds ok at low volume especially through headphones. I will be interested to see how many people can actually stick it out for the full duration.
Trisonics - only 3 sounds are present at any one time (not including fx such as vinyl scratching).

Created in collaboration with mAdDaLiEn this is part of a longer "live" recording utilising some sample players and mainly MakeNoise and Mutable Instruments Eurorack modules. It is somewhat scratchy and crackly but that is no bad thing.
