Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint rounds out the month of March by showcasing new interpretations of 'Forest Beast' by Christina Gavrilova aka Forty Cats. The Moscow resident has enjoyed a rapid ascent in the landscape of progressive music, having forged a distinctive sonic identity, resulting in a string of uniquely crafted records that present a resonant worldly sound. Landing in July of 2022, 'Forest Beast' found the beloved Russian artist crafting one of her deepest and most engaging tracks to date. On the strength of remixes from Berni Turletti and Weird Sounding Dude, the release earned play and support from Armen Miran, Eelke Kleijn, Mind Against, Nick Warren, Quivver and more. With two of the versions still holding a place in Christina's Beatport best sellers, Sound Avenue now invites Paul Deep, Ric Niels and Nau Squaglia to re-imagine the track for 2023's impending spring season.

PREMIERE: Marcus Meinhardt - Apichada (Darin Epsilon Remix) [Lost On You]

Starting with the Henry Saiz's fantastic 2019 bootleg remix of ilomilo by Billie Eilish, I added the classic (and wonderful) Wonderful original 1999 mix track from Nacho Sotomayor (La Roca) and then the more recent Dreamers Inc & Throdef Deep Rmx.
This experiment reveals the coincidence in its chord progression despite being so distant (20 years apart in time) tracks.
