I am a song leader, pianist, accordionist, composer, and educator in self-directed and outdoor programs. I have toured half-a-dozen countries performing and teaching international choral polyphonies with Village Harmony, performed as a contra dance pianist, scored short films, written music for choirs, and produced a couple of albums. Award-winning musician Jake Kulak has been performing professionally in front of audiences since the age of 12. In 2016 he performed at 60 professional gigs across the US -all while still attending high school. Thrilling audiences from Norway to Boston, to the Mississippi Delta, Jake plays guitar-driven blues/rock music which highlights his improvisational ability. His set list includes original blues and contemporary rock music which he writes himself, as well as unique covers of blues and funk artists like Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Sly and the Family Stone and Funkadelic. Jake has spent the last four summers playing the Blues in the home of the Blues - Clarksdale, Mississippi. He has also been CT’s entry in the International Blues Challenge Youth Showcase in Memphis, TN for the past four years.  He and his band the LowDown were also just nominated for a 2017 New England Music Award for “Best New Act of the Year” .

Hi. I'm Alex. I'm a musician. These are my lengths and widths. Been playing electric guitar for about a year now. I love it. Here I will be testing out my guitar chops. And I'm always writing songs, so some of what you will find here are just my ideas scribbled out, and some cool jams with my cool friends. The music never stops. Not the best singer in the world, but I keep getting better.

Alex is from North Sandwich, New Hampshire, where he is currently recording his first studio album, of all originals, titled "Anyone Out There" to be released in 2013. As well as the owner and founder of Studio Blue Rock, Alex is an avid songwriter, performer, producer and electric guitar luthier. Only 18 years old, he plays guitar, piano, bass, percussion, sings vocals, is entirely self-taught, self-produced and doesn't read a single note of sheet music. He's in several local bands, and is also the current music director for the award-winning Wolfeboro-based PerformIt! Stage Company. Alex and his Father, Douglas also own a boutique custom guitar company in New England, JazzBStrat™ (link below). They specialize in building the best custom strats in the Greater Boston Area, maybe even the whole world. Anyway....
