He pays tribute to the silver screen and beginnings of black and white monster movies from Japan, and takes influence from his beloved Gamera series.

The celebratory 20th podcast of the TNDB-series has arrived and it's delivered by one of the big bosses of techno of the last two decades: Perc.

As a producer, Perc has established himself firmly throughout the techno landscape. From his first techno releases on scene-leading labels like CLR, Kompakt, Drumcode, Stroboscopic Artefacts and Ovum Recordings, to his debut album on his own imprint Perc Trax, it's impossible not to mention Perc as one of the leading figures in techno.

Perc's productions and performances have paved the way for the more hard and industrial sound of techno and have inspired countless up-and-coming artists as well as the more established.
As techno enthusiasts, it's safe to say that Perc is a benchmark of techno and his sound, style and ethos are an example of high quality.

Since 2014 Greek artist Endlec has quickly become one of the mainstays within the sonic field
of industrially raw, driving techno with previous releases on Analogue, KR/LF Records and Bas Mooy’s label Mord. Having performed at the likes of Tresor and REX Club, along with taking influences from early 90s European techno and Detroit’s pioneers, Endlec now lands his next release on Barcelona based imprint HEX Recordings showcasing his fierce, tough techno sound.
‘Use For Punishment’ opens with spacey stabs, echoing chimes, driving kicks and crunchy snares until ‘Class Of 89’’ doubles up the percussion for a dark throbbing effect along with rushing rides, descending synths and rhythmic vocal hits. ‘Concrete Destroyer’ then thunders with a moody sound floor, cutting hi- hats and firing risers before ‘Rage Taster’ and ‘Who Ya Gonna Kill’ close proceedings with rattling, syncopated cymbals, haunting voices, thumping bass and electronically charging energy.
