Every now and again, we come across an act that really grabs our attention. Gorgon Breath is, without a doubt, one of those acts. Bursting onto the scene almost exactly one year ago to the day with their debut single Last Christmas (feat. Annábla), the enigmatic production duo have enjoyed considerable online success over the past twelve months off the back of numerous well-received singles and covers including Goosebumps, Safe & Sound, Beggin’, My World and, most notably, Bitter Sweet Symphony. Now, as Gorgon Breath look to wrap up 2021 with their eagerly anticipated Selected debut, the duo come up trumps once again, teaming up with producer Monartt and vocalist Eliza to deliver an incredible rework of Oliver Cheatham’s iconic 1983 smash hit Get Down Saturday Night. The musical mastermind behind a catalogue of impressive vocal house hits includingUnbreakable, Tell Me The Truth and I Don’t Wanna Wait, masked producer, singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist YellowLight has enjoyed a steady stream of releases on the likes of Nervous Records, Peppermint Jam, Superba Records, Fabric Recordings and Ism Records, following his huge debut on Springbok Records with Play Some Funk Tonight back in 2019. Chris Mindel and Rosebud are absolutely delighted for their first official release, “I Should Be Driving” in the Los Angeles underground music scene. Chris first approached Rosebud with the tune, and handed over the creative control of the lyrics having only shared the working title of the track. The creative trust they share in one another is the foundation of the beautiful music they produce together.

“I Should Be Driving” sounds simple, but which angle are you looking at it? Chris may have had other obligations elsewhere in life and should have been driving, but chose music, Or could it be that Rosebud is looking for the meaning driving around town, but where to find it? Maybe it’s the beat, where will it take us?

With more releases just on the horizon, the sky's the limit for what these two talented and hungry music makers can achieve. As they embark on this collaborative musical journey, it is fitting that “I Should Be Driving” is their first release: Another interpretation could be that they are both at the point of their careers where they realize that they should be in the driver's seat.
