Hailing from Essex, QUBIKS’s sound is a kaleidoscopic post-house clash of loops and glitchy percussive beats, overlaid with lush synths and subtle melodies. QUBIK first started creating electronic music in the late nineties with collaborations with Matt O’Brien and Alien. Solo tracks followed with several vinyl releases via Off Key Records.

Peter Green walked into the studio one afternoon and cut a track.

The record didn’t arrive with noise. It surfaced—four stars in Q Magazine, a Blues Matters cover, a single reaching number three on the U.S. Alternative Radio Chart.

The early years were England. Then came New Orleans, New York, Berlin, the Himalayas, Kilimanjaro.

The second album is close now. Marc Ribot on guitar. Danny Thompson’s final sessions. Tchad Blake in Wales.

Some things reveal themselves only at the end.

Music creator, producer and song writer. Keyboard player with foundation in piano. Musical arrangements, production and mixing are handcrafted and have been using Cubase for the last 15 years for the productions, but also recently started with FL Studio which is a bit less tedious as time constraint is always present. 

Passion for Electronic music, but trying to build sonic stories across styles. Avid listener of the many brilliant creators here on SoundCloud.
