With one of the most respected careers in modern DJ’ing and production, it is an absolute honour to welcome Justin Robertson to the Clouded Vision Recordings roster.

The Confluence Of Torrents EP sees JR in his darkest and weirdest for quite some time, providing 5 tracks of mid tempo, acidic techno.  

The title track oozes emotion with a “hairs on the back of the neck” high-ended repetitive synth and sets the tone for the duration of the EP.  “No Time To Sleep” and “Plotting An Orbit” follow suit incorporating warped vocal samples with jacking primal rhythms. 

“Moon Ocean” and “Where I Hide” drop the BPM and take the weirdness to level 3 and the result brings two tried and tested tracks to play early on, or super late.

Hypnotic Groove bring us a mesmerising techno mix for number 99 in our series. Hypnotic Groove are a mix series, digital label & club night based all the way up in Inverness - they caught our eye a while ago when they got Skins onto their series, and after listening to what they were all about we had to get them to contribute to our series :). Hypnotic Groove started off back in 2013 by Johnny Wilson & Andrea Mackintosh and their previous clubnight guests include Andrew Thomson (Huntleys & Palmers), Christian S, Imre Kiss, Fear-E, Perth Drug Legend & Cain.
