Los Hayhayhay; An underground Oaxacan Collective Project made up of the DJ duo Sonambulo & Nishasse.

This project was born at the beginning of 2016 due to the need to give voice to the constant concern of the new sounds created by national producers and DJs that becomes part of the daily life of Los Hayhayhay. 

Their musical selection ranges from house, techno through xamanic, which have led them to stand out on the local and national scene, forming part of emerging labels such as @maleanterecords and collectives such as "Good Fellas" which have served as catapults to be part of important events in the electronic scene such as @borninmexico.

Throughout their careers as DJs they have shared the stage with DJs from the Mexican and international scene such as: @thewookies, @jessicaaudiffred, @morgan-hammer, @lokier, @mrtcmusic, @inigovontier, @andre-vii, @mijomijo, @concretmusic and @bbyjss to mention just a few.

Counterterraism Guest Mix 76: LosHayHayHay

Armendariz es el proyecto solista de Edgar Armendáriz, productor y DJ originario de Oaxaca, cuya propuesta sonora se mueve entre el Techno, el Progressive House y el Indie Psicodélico. Con más de 14 años de trayectoria, se ha consolidado como uno de los referentes de la escena electrónica en su estado natal y una presencia constante en diversos clubes y festivales alrededor de México.
A lo largo de su carrera, ha compartido escenario con nombres destacados como Cabizbajo, Technasia, Zombies in Miami, Angerfist, Snails, Theus Mago, Villaseñor, Flor Capistrán, GPF, entre otros, y forma parte de colectivos y promotoras como Colossal Connections, aportando desde la cabina y la curaduría.
En 2021, debuta oficialmente con el single “AndromeDhance”, publicado por el sello mexicano Veneno. Poco después, su track “Darkness” y el remix de Edd Brave logran posicionarse en tres Tops de Beatport en la categoría Indie Dance, alcanzando los puestos #20 y #56 en el Hype 100 Chart, el lugar #26 en releases y el #88 en ventas generales.
Durante 2022, sus lanzamientos lo mantuvieron presente en las listas de Beatport, firmando música con sellos como Phisica, Maleante Records y Discos Prohibidos. En 2023 funda su propio sello Wax on Tracks, apostando por propuestas de vanguardia en la escena indie y melódica.
En 2024, firma con el prestigioso sello español Beatfreak Recordings, dirigido por D-Formation, afianzando su presencia en la escena internacional. Ya en 2025, logra su primer Top 10 en Beatport con el remix de “Don’t Let Me Go”, además de publicar música en labels como Controlla y nuevos lanzamientos en Beatfreak Recordings.
La identidad sonora de Armendariz se caracteriza por atmósferas cósmicas y oscuras, percusión hipnótica, vocales con mensajes subliminales y texturas aleatorias que dialogan con una esencia ritual, psicodélica y emocional. Más allá de crear música funcional para la pista, su objetivo es proponer “música con sentido”: obras que narran, conectan y trascienden.

Stella Galactica est une barre vitaminée à elle toute seule. 
Ses sets aux influences Italo, Dark Disco et EBM sont musclés, mais parsemés d’amour des kicks et de joie. 
Bercée par le rock, la britpop et la new wave, c’est avec l’électroclash qu’elle s’est découvert une passion pour l’Electro.
Chanteuse et claviériste du groupe Merci Beaucoup, elle a pu se produire dans de nombreuses salles françaises, ainsi qu’en Angleterre et en Allemagne pendant plusieurs années.
Afin de faire cohabiter toutes ses influences, elle a aussi co-fondé le collectif parisien Bovary Club. Leurs soirées mêlants concerts et DJ sets ont permis de faire découvrir de nombreux artistes émergents à un public curieux et tout aussi passionné qu’elle.
Elle s’est récemment produite sur la scène du Badaboum et du Petit Bain à Paris, ainsi qu’au Théâtre Antique d’Arles, à l’Espace Julien à Marseille et au 6MIC à Aix.

In a world turned upside down, where chaos reigns and uncertainty is the only constant, we, a disparate band of souls, found sanctuary in the most unexpected of places: the Counterterraism Guest Mix Series. The name itself mirrored the core of our purpose.

Counter, the antithesis, and Terra, the Earth, symbolise our ceaseless battle to navigate the tumultuous sea of a world in disarray. 

Week after week, we invite a guest, a luminary of the electronic music realm, to share their melodies and tales. These auditory odysseys become the score for our uncharted lives.

Amidst a world veering from its familiar course, we embrace it. We dance to a new rhythm, a reminder that even in a world turned strange and unrecognisable, our connection to the Earth and one another is a tether to acceptance. Life, it seemed, had taken a different path, and we, in the harmonious discord of Counterterraism, found an unconventional beauty.
