My true passion for underground dance music came about from the early 90s scene. I play mostly house and breaks but as a multi-genre DJ, occasionally drop old/nu skool rave, drum & bass, and hardcore. Check out my Mixcloud site for my latest uploads and Facebook page for up to date news.

Formerly one half of Breakbeat DJ legends AWE Soundsystem, who held residencies at a host of London-based clubs including Supatronix, Chew The Fat, Eden Collective. Supafunk, and others, Country Cockney is still relentlessly wowing the masses with his jaw-dropping blend of musical mastery and funny faces. With a belief that 'if it's good, it gets played' regardless of age, genre or cheese-factor, you can always guarantee that no matter where or when this DJ gets on the decks he'll always ensure that he finishes with a satisfied dance floor and a phat set of anthems ringing in the ears. 

You can catch him DJing live with the 'Sunday Breaks Sessions' from 2pm every Sunday on Cutters Choice Radio and the 'Sonic Sanctuary' every Thursday at 7pm on Twitch, playing the latest and greatest Progressive Breakbeat and Electronica music. Also, keep your eyes on the socials for other impromptu pop-up shows.

Matty Wright has been involved in music from an early age. Inspiration has been from the early rave and jungle scene, to the current sound of progressive house and breakbeat.
Production wise, Matty strives to incorporate the old school sound with modern influence and has had a plethora of successful releases on labels such as: Capital Heaven, Foxtrot Alpha, Prognosis, Critical Elements and Affiliate.
