CSS Mix #003 - Braden Clark

A few words from The Remedy Man:
This mix is a recording taken from my set at Soul Cafe, a doof myself and a few friends threw in the Otways in Victoria in December 2022. Being a doof, I definitely leant more into that side of things with my music selections, making sure there was a healthy dose of prog and ravier house sounds. To break up the heavier stuff, I also played some 90’s, dub, and exotic house music (plus a little bit of Italo for good measure). Was also a great chance to play a stack of newer records I’ve added to my collection and hear them on a bigger system. The mix opens with Walkin’ Thru Circles (Level 1 Mix) which was in my wantlist for the longest time. Hope you enjoy the variety! Peace and love - The Remedy Man

CSS Mix #004 - The Remedy Man

With a mix full of 90s records and a handful of newer tracks, Zach delivers the latest instalment of the our mix series. A slow warm up progresses through to late night club sounds to emphasise a main focus on groove and euphoria. 

In his own words: "Inspiration for the mix is from the iconic club scene from the old flick “basic instinct” which I recently watched. In this mix I envisioned warming up starting mid tempo and working my way up finishing in late night territory making it a trip start to finish. Mostly full of 90s records and a couple new ones too. Groove and euphoria is the main focus".

We are stoked to welcome The Remedy Man to Fair Shake 15th edition for his true blue selection sizzle. This mix shares with us his slice of Straya, and takes us on a cruise through our blazoned bushland. One for the road, roll on by the big beat with a route running from the gong to the mountain, beach to fern, sand to snow. Come one come all for a trip down Remedy lane.

Very excited to have this mix apart of the Crumpler series. Kept it almost strictly house for this one. Many different flavours, however a strong emphasis 90’s and the soulful variety - where I often love to sit during my sets. I hope you get as much enjoyment from these songs as I do.

Second instalment of the Cove mix series comes from Eden Pogonoski (@ppogg), taking it through bleep, electro, acid and breaky 4am-close-your-eyes atmospheric rollers. Expect newly released stuff on Salt Mines and Craigie Knowes, as well as some material recently put out on Desert Sound Colony's ever wonderful Holding Hands label.  

It's a mix best suited for the last hour at home before you head out for the night, so play it then. Or whenever else you feel so inclined.
